It's weird to see things like this that originate in this corner of the Internet being discussed in the normie parts of the Internet. I keep accidentally running into this news and watching people again and again become scandalized.

Some not all. I think there's a lot of criminals with a sense of chivalry. I wonder if CWC will get his ass beat in jail for what he just pulled. Not pedo tier, but its possible.
 
Who knew that the Chris-Chan saga would end with Chris telling a troll about how he raped/molested his own mother and Chris being removed from the home. I guess it’s a good thing that the troll got this information out of him so the abuse could stop and Barb can actually go into a senior living facility where she can receive at least a step above the care Chris was able to provide.

It really did come out of nowhere. It initially came to light last night in an edited form without the person on the other end's voice, which is really strange.
I had been questioning earlier if this is just some advanced fucked up Idea Guys-esque bullshit, but I feel like nobody would think to go as far as to set up Chris to fuck his own mom... right?

This reminds me of the Japanese Empire during World War 2. They commited so many war crimes yet held such a strange code of honor in everything they did. I know I know it's a weird comparison bit still

Honestly, I think something like this is just a matter of time. Chris has been clearly divorced from rationality since the Idea Guys saga, and this sort of deviant shit definitely became within the realm of possibility at that point. Notably he didn't cross this sort of line because he became a violent sociopath, but because he self-deluded into thinking this was consensual and good for all parties involved. Once Bob died and Chris was left to his own unchecked impulses, some sort of Bad End for Chris was basically inevitable.

IANAL, but insofar as I understand the concept of "diminished capacity" as an affirmative defense it seems like it should apply to Chris (or maybe he should opt for just pleading insanity?) The court may very well see things differently, however. We'll see - but in any case unless this is some sort of weird hoax this is definitely the end of an era, as Chris' story has become too dark for most people to follow it with lighthearted amusement.

why wouldn't the person with the title of "the most documented human being ever" be well known outside the U.S.?
