This leak has basically ruined my entire day. When I heard it, immediately it made sense, and that was probably the worst part of it. I think if you have been watching Chris for an extended period of time, you really never thought Chris could realistically rape someone; the fact that it is his own mother is basically the double tap that has made sure that this is by all accounts not fucking funny anymore. For a while I really had hope that Chris would be able to make something of himself, make the best out of his bad situation. But this never happened, and things only got darker and stranger as time went on. But even then, at least personally this was unthinkable. This was the edgy joke that was so horrifically tryhard it gets dismissed immediately. Except for the fact that it's not, it's our reality.

Does anyone here think this wouldn't have happened without the Idea Guys? They caused Chris' slip into outright insanity, and would he have done this if he still at least had one foot in reality like in the old days? Or do you figure such a dark outcome was inevitable? I know the Idea Guys just exploited delusions that had been there for a while and made them stronger, so maybe he would have gotten into this bad a state eventually on his own?

A forum member, I think it might have been @Optimus Prime , said that the reason why they were so successful was because they convinced Chris that they believed CWCvilled was real. That immediately made me think of @DStecks sentence on one of his Sonichu review videos, where he accused Alec of being the worst troll at the time. Because he made a comic that took place in CWCville that wasn't made by Chris, attacking him directly in his retreat.
