It's kind of funny how this is similar with the revelation of Bob's death

Before both Chris' antics with Barb and Bob's death, it looked like Chris' life was shaping up to an interesting event (The Calling out Saga and his pony chimpouts)

But then a curveball came that involved one of Chris' parents that now canned that saga in favor of something unexpected that changes Chris forever.

The fact this happened in 2021 while Bob died in 2011 makes it more interesting.

Chris' life is pretty much poetry.

I completely expected a dark end for Chris. He's too spectacular a specimen to not have a dark ending.

He was so consistently exceptional in his autism and failure that he leads a fucking cult for Christ's sake. He's insane, embodies every single deadly sin in a hyper-animated fashion. His consistent awfulness at life was so overpowering that it loops back around to becoming sheer CHARISMA. Case and point, according to Null, chris fucks his mommy every 3 days, and people's response? "hey [in]famous person, can you speed those drawings up?" People STILL want his work and likeness! I was seriously convinced that if Chris didn't manage to screw the pooch - or Barb - or BOTH -- He'd probably lead an entire segment of this country one-day.

Chris is biblical - a person who can only exist in fiction or mythological text and yet... here he is right here in bumble-fuck Virginia US of A and that's what makes him so spectacular - that a man can be so committed to his antics. Honestly though, I would have preferred my personal ending where he leads a cult into genocidal actions... but like entirely by accident because he can't get his wording right. We may still get our glorious An Hero standoff but I'm less hopeful now

I'm quite new to the whole Chris Chan universe, but if I was aware of it since the beginning, it would have changed for me the moment Bob died. And then, with the whole Snyder incident, it would have just showed how mentally unstable he is. It was just downhill from here.
