Its been a long time coming unfortunately...
Chris is fucked up because he never got the support he needed the most. Now he is so far gone because of the internet (so to speak) he's starting to mix up the real world and the fake one. It was only a matter of time before something horrifying happened and this is sadly the trigger.

I think the concern among a lot of people is that some weirdo, much like Chris, says they think they're a girl and then all of a sudden they're on dangerous drugs.
