If Chris is in his car, because of a court order to stay away from Barb, does this mean Barb is home alone? This is a worry because I think it’s obvious that Barb isn’t safe to be kind in that house for more than a day or two.

Seconding. I literally searched for all instances of discussion of "Bella" or "Fiona" in this thread and the results are depressingly scant. Whatever percentage Chris is guilty, this person and their associates are as guilty if not more.


I personally believe something like this happened. The most definitive Chris Chan moments since his discovery have always featured outside influence. I would be very surprised if this turn of events was 100% organic Chris.

I’d bet that they were implanting the idea, raving about the benefits of sex for Barb’s health and “restoring youth” and then goading Chris along. The crowning achievement was Chris finally giving all the gory details on audio for them to release. What's interesting is that the tape begins mid-conversation. It opens with Chris talking about hitting her g-spot. I would be really interested to know what was said leading up to this. For all we know it very well could be stuff that points to obvious Idea Guy style coercion and brainwashing. The lack of a full tape is curious at the very least.

I kinda agree. I think, he massaged her or something, touched her where he shouldn't, got no reaction, touched her more and then went all in. To anyone here saying that we should be "kinder" and "respectful" to Chris, that ship sailed decades ago.

Kindness and respect are earned. I find myself respecting and sympathizing with Barb more because of her circumstances. Having relatives with dementia helps. They're more human in comparison to whatever the hell Chris is now.

She abused him for years, yes, but nowhere near should she ever deserve what Chris did to her.

The people who often remark that the world should be kinder, 99.9% of the time, simply want control. Not actual kindness.
