She was the one who made zero effort making amends with family and friends, she ruined any semblance of financial independence, and she make her house a hoarder's nightmare. Chris gave me access to his emails years ago to help out a while back during the Joshua Wise situation. I've had access since. Chris is aware i have access to his emails, and after changing his passwords recently gave me access to them again. I've helped him deal with trolls signing him up for spam and newsletters and other things like that.

I was going to send Chris his GoFundMe money, but after talking it over and sleeping on it, I've canceled the payment and I've asked GoFundMe to do a total refund.

I told Chris last night to spend one night sleeping in his vehicle, and that this morning I would help him figure out a way to have a roof over his head until August 5th. I suggested that he take some time under the stars to reflect on his situation.

Every so often, Chris gets an email alert that Barb has sent him money. I've always been under the impression that Barb tightly manages his finances and sends him a pittance. However, to my surprise, at 12:38am this morning (so less than 8 hours ago), Barb sent Chris $750.

Unless he has something on file with the bank authorising him to intromit with Barb’s accounts - and let’s get real, they did not go to the bank to do this - it doesn’t matter if it was his money, he isn’t allowed to access her account and take money.

He also did this whilst under a fucking court order to not damage her property. Chris is fucked here. He would need to be her power of attorney or similar VA equivalent to touch the account in the first place and even then, a PoA would prima facie violate the terms of the EPO as posted by Null if they withdrew monies from her account whilst being barred from doing so.

You might be able to slide in a razor thin exemption for a genuine PoA to have taken money to prevent serious damage to Barb’s property, eg for emergency repairs to 14BC to prevent it being flooded out, but that is so far from what has verifiably happened here that it doesn’t even matter.

Chris has done the electronic equivalent of dipping Barb’s purse. This is just theft, pure and simple.

Everyone involved is a bad person but I would put the blame more on Bob. Bob set him up for failure during his formative years in more ways than one and ruined any chances of Chris learning responsibility or the importance of being responsible with money.

Bob legit tried to raise Chris with Barb, a bad one-night-stand at best, so he can make amends. Bob, an old man who's 2 decades into retirement, was the only one who actually bothered to discipline Chris.

He literally died giving Chris and Barb a mortgage to the house so they can live without worrying about losing a roof on their house, living in a hoarder's den Barb made, dying from bug bites.
