Well, $750 is apparently a misdemeanor in Virginia. It seems likely that he's stolen more, but who knows. The public defender will likely suggest he just pleads guilty to this. As for the sexual abuse, it will depend on what he's charged with, but that's almost certainly going to be a felony. It also wouldn't surprise me if they don't find more shit on his electronic devices, and those will almost certainly be taken as evidence.

For real though, Null does everything he does because he wants to be happy and he wants to make us happy, he's here because this is his idea of fun. He can be a bit abrasive and says what's on his mind but if someone who's trying to be better comes in and politely asks for their dead thread to be removed he'll do it. And despite everything Chris does to show that he will never become better, Null has tried time and time again to help Chris out. Yeah, sure, make fun of him for it but don't hate him because he tried to do a good deed.

I get the feeling that, as CWC moved from being the top tier lolcow of the web to the 'origin story' of this site (and general anthropology origin for lolcow study in general) you came to see him as an important part of everything. You seriously did your best to try to bring about some sort of redemption arc. Considering no one knew about....all of this....yet, this made perfect sense. You quite literally did more for cwc than any screeching social justice monger and there were always those of us rooting for this to work...at least back in those innocent times before 30 or so hours ago.
