He may not be convicted of anything, but this is still "the end" in a more profound way, I think. He'll no longer be publicly regarded as a funny and adorable jester; he'll no longer be invited to participate in events or projects; 90% of the people donating to him and otherwise supporting him will stop doing so. One way or another, he'll no longer be living with Barbara. So, even if by some miracle he does stay at 14 Branchland Court, he'll be by himself without direct adult supervision and without the guidance of benefactors like Null. And, in the more likely event he's kicked out of the house, we know he's too inept and lazy to find sustainable private housing for himself.
