Lolcow Lee Goldson / Barneyfag / x86x2 / Revved - Barney Hatewatching Gigantic Autist & Aspiring 4chan Janitor

I kinda wanna post NSFW things just to get Revved-Senpai's attention.

I can read this thread a million times over and never even correlate any similarities between the MLP or Barney Fan Base ('Fan Base').

Except Barney fans will likely be more sane than bronies.
I don't think most Barney fans want to fuck dinosaurs and buy Barney related sex toys

Is he telling the truth about attending university? I can't figure how since he seems to be a low functioning autist.
He apparently monitors 4chan during his lectures. I'm assuming that he goes to University of Toronto. If he's really 24, he spent a few years probably NEETing around before he went off to school. Which means that his high school experience was years ago.

I caught him shitting up a thread on /v/ because someone posted a pony picture. He seems to be really paranoid about the 4chan mods all being Barney fans who try to silence him by deleting his posts. They totally don't delete his posts because he's a raging autist. I'm very curious about what kind of mental gymnastics barneyfag goes through just to justify himself.
Doesn't he usually talk about "degenerates" and "redpill" stuff on 4chan too? Here he tries to present himself as sane but on /v/ he just goes all out.

Well, from what I've seen, when this whole brony explosion happened back in 2012, there ended up being a bit of overlap between the two fandoms, with at least one YouTube user using the fandom's size to justify why he shouldn't get picked on for liking Barney. Pic unrelated, but I'll give an example of this.

Ugh, should've thought twice before finding out you DON'T have to show your age on this site instead of making a fake one...

Yeah, you ignored the rule about not using a name you use anywhere else, so I'd expect you not to be too bright. Hell, you even used your signature picture for your avatar.

So what DID you do with the time between high school and when you started university?

@x86x2 So you're the reason this thread is still going, huh?

Okay. I'll bite. Why waste so much energy on a television show for toddlers?

I mean the way I see it, how could children not like Barney? He's cute, colorful and is non threatening and he sings songs and plays with children

Maybe the little ones familiar with how real T-Rex's look but they're probably the only ones

The value of Barney & Friends' educational influence on children has been well documented. Yale University's Family Television Research & Consultation Center produced a series of studies on Barney & Friends, concluding that the show has a very positive educational impact on young children. The show particularly influences language development, one of the early indicators of future success in school, according to the Yale researchers.

In their first study, Drs. Jerome and Dorothy Singer of the Yale Center reported that Barney & Friends was "nearly a model of what a preschool program should be." Later studies indicated that Barney & Friends' positive influence extends to children of culturally diverse and low-income groups. Teachers who took part in the study reported that after viewing Barney & Friends, occurrences of violent and aggressive play were reduced among preschool students. In a study by the Singers, their research illustrates that Barney & Friends helps children be better prepared to enter a structured learning environment. According to the study, episodes in this series were especially strong in dealing with pro-social behaviors and with emotion. "...Barney & Friends continues to be a television series that adds much to our nation's goal to 'ready' children for school." (Singer & Singer, 1999)
