The amount of people who are sucking Fennah off in this thread is fucking hilarious. Weren't we like... suppose to be against him or something? If Fennah does look through this thread, he's gonna notice how much y'all are kissing his ass. I thought we were suppose to hate his guts cause he's a delusional egocentric jackass. Now all of a sudden it feels like everyone in this thread is taking his side. Dafuq happened?

Minor lip sync issues, otherwise looks good. A few more hours of polish and it would be his best work. She feels more cartoony here though. Not in a bad way, I actually like it. She reminds me of a Looney Tunes character in how she moves. It feels fitting for the chaotic personality and energy he tries to give off with her. It makes me wonder what his work would be like if he dropped the serious tone he's trying and failing at getting and tried to just make a wacky adult Looney Tunes type thing. Drop the realism, embrace the madness, and just have fun with the over the top violence, sexualization, and all that. Just keep cranking it up until is transcended the edge and just became gory slapstick. Lucy already is basically that 90% of the time, he should just embrace it across the board. I legitimately think that with time, practice, and some of the improvements we saw with this that he'd be good at it. This is a step towards progressing his skills as an animator.

Although I would say that making Looney Tunes for adults can get a bit chaotic if you don't handle it right.

Look, although it may seem so at the beginning, this site does not exist just to throw shit at some internet guy (even though some of them deserve it).
In general, we speak in a crude and acid way and we laugh at what they do, but we don't wish them evil or failure either.
If you look at the whole thread from the beginning, yes there is mockery, but it is constantly mentioned how Sam has potential for the things he does and that if his ego wasn't sky high he could become a decent creator.
Seeing this kind of improvement even feels satisfying, but who knows, knowing him we may be in for a disappointment in the end. But there's nothing strange in pointing out that for once he's doing decent things.

We don't manufacture drama. We don't try to hate on everything. We stalk idiots on the internet and point and laugh at their failures yes, but EVERYONE likes a redemption arc. We are genuinely happy when the harmless cows find success and see improvements. We enjoy the entire rollercoaster of their careers, blind hatred is for a-logs. The more threads you hang out in, the more you see that blind hatred is against the DNA of this forum.

Yes we revel in actual drama, yes we nitpick shit well past the point of "not that deep bro", and yes we mock the very existence of most people who get threads, but hate them? That requires them to earn our hate. That's for dog fuckers and child abusers. No we're, if anything, the biggest fans of these people. If they post a new video we watch it eagerly to mock it then celebrate it when it isn't shit. We autistically track their every tweet, their every public appearance, everything. We do this in the name of documentation and milking drama for all the lols we can get. Yet we also do it to enjoy their success, as rare as it is.

Most of his work is shit. Yet you can't dismiss improvements. Honesty and truth are cornerstones of our community. It's what makes us so acidic in fact. We're painfully, brutally, maliciously honest, and the cows hate it. Yet we also don't reach out. We stay here, hands off, polite and self contained. Watching from the distance. We don't white knight, nor do we a-log. We just observe, document, and comment.

It's probably because he only knows how to make one model and applies it to all his designs (humanoid shape, super-wide hips and animal head) and he has to plaster weird shit on them to make them stand out on their own otherwise they would all look the exact same.

I'm 100% you could take this model, retexture it to make it look like any of his other characters and it would be a perfect fit.

I'm sorry but this is one of the few times I have to disagree. In my opinion, I thought the texture of the fur and skin in this looked better compared to previously. Maybe it's the lighting but Celia actually looks menacing in this. However, I do agree that Fennah is taking forever to work on stuff because he's working on too much stuff at once. Honestly, I'd be cool if he just scrapped his little "animation tests" that are more like music videos with a bunch of overly flashy visuals and dance music. These "voice tests" are more subtle, the movement isn't all over the place and there's no music to butcher the atmosphere.

Of course knowing Fennah, he'll continue to juggle all this stuff at once until his book eventually does come out. Apparently it's suppose to come out this year according to Fennah, but with this guy you can never be too sure.

The skin has a "rougher" look now, it doesn't look as plastic as before, I guess it's fine. I also noticed that he has reduced the size of the nipples and removed those weird chains that she had, I don't know if that will be an accomplishment.
The hair looks horrible and fake, like it's made of cotton or something.

The dreads aren't perfect, but believe it or not that looks more like real dreads than you'd think. A lot more skin texture, and it more or less is an improvement. The amount of piercings is still excessive, but she seems more toned now. The breasts and chest appear to have less fat. The removal of chains can hint at a change in character personality, as such things normally represent something in a character's design, that or they were arbitrary and were removed for arbitrary reasons. I am indifferent to their removal personally. I'd love a better lit image, as this one is cast in far too much darkness.

Now that I see the high quality images I must actually say she looks good. I hope you just can’t see the white smile because of the dark, but overall it’s a great improvement (which I won’t say for Lucy to this day).

Also on the side I watched his Locket streams because of CGI curiosity and he made here a statement about the jiggling being intentional, that he added it so it would show the weight of the characters and that they wouldn’t look so stiff. And he promised Locket won’t jiggle so much, he added extra bones to control it. But I still fear bouncy breasts…
Animation is supposed to be five minutes long, his longest, and guess that’s what’s taking so long but still I swear he would have finished it already if not all the other filler crap.
In one stream he said he IS working on Fontaine test, and that’s from a stream a year or two ago, and it did not come out till today :”D
Plus he admitted that he’s bad at taking criticism and he calmed now more down, said criticism is necessary to improve but people are telling him his animation is too jiggly too movy for years and he still hasn’t changed much about it, rather made it worse? Same with Lucy everyone screaming redesign is shit and he keeps making it worse. Animation tests are getting less and less effort, the songs barely fit they tell nothing about the character, they’re just dancing without purpose around! “Ah no what that’s bullshit.”
Guess he believes he takes criticism well but I’m truth he’s a dude who will search for that one comment that tells him it is great and say “well everyone thinks it’s great”.

I use a policy with Fennah that looks something like this:

Has there been a new post in his thread? If no, check date of last post. If more than 3 days, check his twitter for milk.
If there is something, and it is a screenshot of something check his Twitter and get a better copy of it there.

Screenshots and YouTube community posts tend to make the image look worse and hide details, as well as make things look off as the resolution gets stretched.

Also, because this comes up constantly, allow me to provide the most recent statement on Twitter as of this post on the status and reasoning of kivouacian titties:

In terms of deign, it's a useful utility and mostly iconographic.

Meanwhile, the spleen does actually do quite a number of helpful things, you can live without it, but you'll be less healthy for it. Same for the appendix, despite common belief, still has an on going purchase in our current biology. So his examples are poor.

His logic also falls on its face when we've yet to see anything consistent about Kiv biology beyond triple navels (which is evidence of his complete failure of understanding of the navel) and the cross shaped pupils. Even breast count is inconsistent.
