I can understand that. I was talking more so about the way that teacher speaks to them and the kids tolerating her speaking to them that way; apologies for being unclear. Yea it's pretty normal. I left k-12 schools 5-6 years ago and this type of interaction was typical. You would usually see it more in teachers that teach arts/theatre/music but if the curriculum isn't intense enough or if the teacher are cool enough then you can see it in other subjects as well. Im guessing this is 8th or 9th grade algebra. In some schools kids will hang out with their teachers at lunch or after school in their classrooms if the teacher allows it.

You're spot on. I really only saw this with the kids who needed to be treated like they'll shatter if you speak to them in the wrong tone and they primarily hung out in the creative department. But I bet that it has now flourished. I'm sure some kids are absolutely fed up with the bullshit and look down on those drawing on the whiteboard. I don't get all the people saying that he isn't actually trans. Like someone said way, way back in the thread, I don't buy into the cis-trans binary. There's no such thing as "True Trans", people have various reasons for transitioning and all of those reasons lead to the same general outcome. In that sense I agree with trans activists that pretty much anyone can troon out and then be trans, but not for the same reason of "everyone is valid".

That video was also posted on the first of April, so it could have been intended to mock people who make helicopter jokes from a pro-trans perspective. This guy has been making videos for a while, and they are so unfunny that I am leaning towards him being genuine. The teacher and the adults are to blame for such climate and such fragile kids. People get used to any kind of treatment, so if teachers did not infantilise their students and if parents did not demand infantilisation, most of these fragile kids would toughen up.

Also, art teachers in my country are the meanest of all and will dress down students in front of the entire class. I quite like it and think it builds character.

Pharmaceutical companies do not do surgeries either, so they would have to direct their complaints to Big Surgery.
