the important thing to remember is that nobody is saying that chris has no culpability here. i don't think anyone is claiming influence. the man raped his own senile mother and he should face time for that and all the vindication in the world to boot.

What you're missing is that the phone call was recorded at 12 AM on Wed Julay 28 - that early morning. The phone call was allegedly 4 hours - so that'd be starting about 8 PM on Tues Julay 27 - the night before. The texts, which refer to a past conversation on the subject of his motherfucking, took place between 10-11 PM on Wed Julay 28 - later that night.

So best case scenario, Kelly only found out about the incest during the 4-hour phone call and is only familiar with the situation at the beginning of the recorded part because he brought it up earlier in the unrecorded part of the call.

This means that, again best case scenario, she not only encouraged him but she also sat on this information for over 24 hours while he escalated to even more extensive sexual assault. Knowing that he rapes her every 3 nights.

EDIT2: correction, she sat on it until FRIDAY, having found out TUESDAY.

And then when she did leak her conversations, she didn't take it to the police or social workers. She took it to fucking reddit for subforum asspats and clout. Redditors then contacted the police.

She deserves to be doxed for (1) being stupid, (2) being a horrible person, (3) so the police can interview her to build a case against chris and establish the veracity of the screenshots for the prosecution.

I'm in two minds about Kelly and her accomplices.

On one hand, they've shone a light on Chris's depravity and alleged criminal actions, which need to be dealt with via due legal process. On the other hand, their methods to extract evidence relating to Chris's depravity appear to be downright scummy.

I'm not a lawyer, but could Kelly's alleged actions be seen as incitement to commit a crime? Idk what the charge is under Virginia law (accessory?), and idk if the fact Kelly being in Texas will have an impact i.e. would she be charged and tried under Texas law, or would she be extradited to Virginia? Although I suspect the latter is unlikely given that she is allegedly an accessory rather than a perpetrator.
