I talked to a disability care expert and they told me that Chis is most likely too Autistic to stand trial, this is certainly going to be interesting.

Why would he be fit to stand trial in his debt trials and his trespassing trials, but not in this one?

I don't think Chris was arrested today for what he did to Barb. I think he was arrested for not leaving the motel when they asked him to vacate. I bet the cops found a way to get him off the street without committing to prosecuting for the whole shebang. They'll figure out when it comes time to release Chris for this minor infraction if they have evidence to charge on the Barb stuff. They may handle it all hush hush under the table with an agreement.

I'm not an expert on this but I've been arrested with a misdemeanor and I was able to post bail without seeing the judge. However, no. There is probably an order that will keep his ass locked up.
