If this ever goes to trial, Chris's public defender will almost certainly recomend he take a plea deal, and the prosecutor will almost certainly be willing to grant it given his autism and how backed up courts are right now.
Chris will likely spend very little, if any, time in prison.

He's going to be a registered sex offender who's allowed no contact with barb (who's now permanently in a home and guaranteed dead within three years), the house is gone, all his posessions are gone, he no longer gets the money barb gets. he's in crazy amounts of debt, and everyone on the internet knows who he is and stalks him. And if he is and goes to the State Supreme Court it will rule in his favor. He identified as a woman before the act as is clearly documented. Which means he was wrongly denied liberty by being held without bail as he could not have ever been legally charged, so can claim damages.
