Also not an original statement, but her attitude towards her cat annoys me almost more than her attitude towards her parents. Even though they don't *deserve* the way she treats them, it's pretty clear they are themselves dysfunctional people who shouldn't have adopted (especially a high-needs child). And they still continue to enable her as an adult. So, as others ITT have said, they kinda made their own bed.
But the poor cat never had a choice or hand (foot?) in any of his life circumstances.
Like many women her age, I think Mother Frigly equates food with love and rides that train especially hard because, between her hair trigger husband and their rageful sped daughter, there ain't a whole lot of actual love to go around. That's probably why all four Friglys look as they do and are in the health predicaments they are (minus the cancer, a bastard which can happen to anyone).

I'm confused. Is she defending Chris or just taking a swipe at the Farms because it's in the news? I thought she was well aware of her thread and pretty embarrassed or traumatized or w/e by it? Staph gives me so many questions. Also, Pete is visibly miserable and it makes me sad. I can't imagine how uncomfortable he must be for it to radiate off him like that.

Have been watching this thread for awhile, this one fascinates me as someone who used to use tumblr. The website discourages any kind of positive growth, instead allowing for an environment where people use anything and everything as an excuse to fester. Why would one get a job or move out? One is so disabled and so disadvantaged by society, after all.
Cows are sedentary. I have little doubt that Stephanie is autistic, but it’s not disabling. She is just lazy.
