With CWC no longer there to bind the threads of reality at the house together, the first Emission will occur in a matter of months, killing thousands and causing the state of Virginia to declare a 30 mile wide Zone of Autism around 14 BC. A new underworld, comprised of individuals illegally living in the Zone, or T.R.O.L.L.s (Trespassers, Robbers, Observers, Loners, and A-Logs) will emerge to bring artifacts of the unraveling Dimensional Merge to the rest of the world. The end of humanity will truly begin.

Imagine being able to shoot Sonichu'd mashups of animals and people. This is amazing, I'm in.
If Cole is given possession, he's definitely selling it.
I'm wondering how much Cole will play into this. There was no love lost so it wasn't out of the question if Cole didn't get control of the estate. Guess we'll see. If he or the bank is smart, they'll auction off some of the hoard and possibly some of the art and ramblings.

it'll get sold to some normies who don't know who chris-chan is. do you think that the realtor in charge of selling the place is going to be leading people around going 'yeah a guy totally fucked his own mom in here'

retarded thread
The thing is when most people buy a house the look it up. Now tell me, whats one of the first things that come up when you search "14 branchland court ruckersville va"?

bought a house or two in my time and i can't say i've ever googled the property before, but some people might i guess

If Barb is allowed to return, she'll likely keep it. Chris would likely be next of kin, but the status when she passes would largely be dependent on his legal situation. If Cole is given possession, he's definitely selling it.
If Barb becomes a ward of the state, and I'm not sure how this works in Virginia, then the bank might sell it and the state will seize whatever the proceeds from the sale minus the debt is. Real estate prices in the United States have soared recently, so the sale price of the house will likely be more than the debt owed, and the county wants someone paying taxes on the place. The bank (and likely the state, if they take possession and not the bank) would be liable for that, so the county may not care too much about who owns it.
As for the fate of the house if Barb doesn't return, that will be up to whoever buys it from the bank (or the bank itself), but it may be demolished. The recent restoration from the fire may have improved it enough to preclude that, though.
As for the contents, the junk man is coming.
Why would Cole get it? She doesn't own it. And she's alive. If she dies Chris won't get it either

I mean, yes but no. According to LendingTree, Virginia is the 9th highest mortgage payment state at an average of $1,243 a month. The last time I heard Chris tell the details about his tugboat, he said he was getting like $1,300 a month. And that was in like 2008-9 when he said it. It probably is more now, be it time and now that he's a autistic man with only 1 and soon to be 0 handlers. I know it my state, you can't get medicaid if you make over $1,300 a month. How much medicaid and autistic SSI are connected, I don't know. I think it's been establish Chris will never lose his SSI.
As for the no part, I mean its Chris. He'd very likely blow through $600 of it before paying the mortgage. And then there's the necessities like gas, electric and water. Chris has to an extant proven he can pay bills when on a routine. But his frivolities would fuck him. He'd almost certainly not be able to pay for internet, cable, streaming services, lego and daily McDonalds.
But if Chris could limit his monthly food budget to $150-200 a month, which is easy as ONE person, and live without extra, yeah, maybe the tugboat could keep him from being homeless. There's also the retards that donate and pay for his shit, who will likely continue to do so after this.
But again, the bank won't keep it waiting for him when(if) he goes to jail, especially for longer than a year.
Quit spouting the same nonsense Chris apologists have presented over the years. He's fucking screwed in terms of money, and I hope to God he is convicted of a felony, so he can wind up on the streets.

It will be a bizzare circus for sure. If repomen or pickers break into the house and loot his toys and video games there might be some vintage collectors goods as well as the provenance of it being "christory". Although selling stolen goods is illgeal I'm sure some spergs might break in if the property is repossessed and/or condemned.

The house itself is a loss and I doubt anyone would want to live on the property after the first buyers get harrassed and doxxed by weens. The land itself might find industrial use in the end.

Does anyone know if Chris still had pets? They're likely dehydrated or dead considering the time of year and length of absence.
I don't know about industrial use. If I remember right its on a corner of a suburban area. Maybe they could tear it down and put some electrical utility boxes on the land. Or a new telephone pole with a transformer on it. There's enough land for a small power station, but I don't think the neighbors would like that.

Zoning laws exist, retard. On the lot where 14 Branchland Court stands only residential homes of a certain density and floor-to-area ratio (I'm assuming R-2 or R-3) can be built.

i wonder how much garbage, holes in walls, incest, rape, and etc costed the value of this once nice house
Finally something I can comment on.

So it really depends, honestly discounting weens wanting the house for it's christory the difficulty of repairing the home is really hard to judge from what we know.

The holes in the walls, the garbage. Not a big deal tbh; you just haul the trash out and redrywall if it's bad enough. The pee and shit from the pets and Chris, little more difficult. You might have to replace floors or maybe even just carpet which is honestly pretty easy. Most of the major structural damage that could've been present is fixed from when the house caught fire and while it's dirty the garbage is also not that bad from a clean up standpoint. Some hoarders I've seen literally keep bathrooms full of their own shit, sometimes not even in any containers and those rooms can sometimes be salvaged. Barb and Chris's shopping hoard? Hard day or two of work to dumpster it all and get it off the property. Lawn and landscaping isn't bad to fix as it is.

Basically unless Chris and Barb have been intentionally destroying the house it's value is probably nearly unaffected at all.

I guarantee we're going to get people breaking in to take pieces of Christory and photos, if the house ends up empty at some point (either during the proceedings or as a result.)
Wouldn't surprise me if someone gets arrested over it.

The structural integrity of the house would probably have to be a little bit screwed up after that housefire, we are not entirely sure how the inside of his house has looked for a good few years now as well since we don't have a comprehensive house tour video to go off. Honestly if there is so much mould, cat piss stained carpets, rotting wood and neglected home maintenance in there, no amount of high pressure cleaners and bleach is going to make the house somewhat presentable for it to be sold on the market again, I at least think the house will be mostly demolished (except for the foundations) and rebuilt, or they just knock it down completely and just subdivide the land for more houses, since the block is big enough for more than one house, if they do end up wanting to go that route.

Very unlikely I know, but I actually do see the potential for that house to be some sort of immortalised lolcow museums, we know that Chris has a large infamous following and depending on how the course of his story goes, people will be talking about him for decades to come, it could easily end up being a type of pilgrimage shrine/temple for christorians/weens/followers whatever, and it can end up being a Sonichu Goddess temple of sorts, one that Chris actually wanted all along, but not intending for it to end up like this.

Don't think whoever ends up with the possession of the property would want to do anything of the sort though, unless someone like Null wants to move in...

The first sentence is a fair point - whoever eventually buys the house is going to have to deal with reddit/discord zoomers and various other spergs. The second is nonsensical, since they aren't going to use a small residential lot in the middle of hundreds of other small residential lots for a commercial or industrial purpose.

Since Chris is gone for an indeterminate time, Barb will likely be going to a senior center I can only see the home being repossessed once they fail to pay shortly. I know Barb re-mortgaged the house a year or two ago when they hit financial troubles.
We don't know anything for certain currently. There is a possibility that Barb got a reverse mortgage in the past year or two, which would line up with a significant reduction in e-begging videos, but it has never been confirmed. We do know, however, that Borb took out a second mortgage in 2009, and, assuming Barb's not behind on it or racked up significant fees, etc, it has about $90K-$100K left on it.

I'm sure there's a B&E in progress as we speak. IIRC, weens raided piles of wet smoked up garbage after the house fire.
Trashraider worked for the renovation company, and took stuff that was supposed to go in the dumpster.

Save the plaque.
It's in the basement, so good luck.

They're not renting. They have a mortgage. When the owner (in the US, you "own" even if the bank can foreclose on you), of a property dies, the property often goes into a process known as probate, even if you have a will. This can be straightforward, or, in this case, not so much. The bank doesn't get all the equity back just because the owner dies; that equity is part of the estate.
