There's a lot of different possibilities (including she's frail and in the hospital) but yes this would logically make sense.

If she doesn't have her faculties, it's rape. If she does have her faculties, and it wasn't rape, they could tell her that she's going to be arrested for incest if that's true, and then she says it's rape. We'll have to see if there's other charges

Usually your brought into booking, then a hold cell with others then taken out and showered sometimes deloused. Hand over your clothes and then put on your county outfit and moved to another holding type situation (tho not always) before being put into whatever unit or pod you'll be staying in. Sometimes you make it before a judge before your unit assignment. Depends on how busy and when intake is. Since tomorrow is Monday he will likely have time to get his county outfit and placed in the intermediate cell and be arraigned in the morning. Unless its a book and release or someone is already in the process of bonding him out he'll be in a general population unit sometime tomorrow. Thats just my limited experiences in my state but I imagine its somewhat similar. Of course his mental state will probably change the process a bit for him. They generally reserve isolation for unruly individuals, I could see them trying to house him among others at least initially.

When they're picking charges in the drop down menu that's probably just the little blurb that pops up when they select 18.2-366 B (the felony). It's probably a lot more common for a parent to be charged with diddling their underage child (who cannot be charged)
