Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Well, apparently I've had Covid. I just got a strong positive test for "old antibodies". I've been assuming I had the virus in January '20 since I was sick for two weeks, lost a bunch of weight, and had an empty cough for a month, but I've had two negative round of antibody testing since then. The only time since those test that I haven't felt well was coming back from a trip in June when I had slight vertigo for one night, felt tired for a couple days, and assumed I was jet legged. So either that was Covid, or I must have had it asymptomatically. Who even knows...

I'm low-key hoping people will stop bugging me about the vaccine now. Maybe I've had Covid twice... my grandpa did... but I feel like a positive antibody test is probably about as good as the protection the leaky vaccine seems to be offering.

It was weirdly hard to get info on the antibody test though. I got mine at Ralphs/Krogers, and I talked to seven pharmacists and only two of them knew what I was asking for. Three or four other ones tried to sell me normal Covid tests.

My church closed for like a month to “flatten the curve”, then opened anyway when it became clear that was bullshit. Its one of the fastest growing churches in the country now as a result. Philadelphian churches are having revival level numbers. The reason this isn’t covered much is the Laodicean churches are rightfully failing hard.
Here in the Catholic Church something similar happened. Pretty much every bishop suspended Mass and told their flock "just pray Spiritual Communion every Sunday, lol". Meanwhile, the SSPX (a traditionalist group who basically do what they want when it comes to stuff like this) kept offering Masses and as a result far more people started going to SSPX chapels.

Sky news(fox news from Australia) has been suspended from YouTube

A lot of their videos criticized the heavy handed lockdowns
Did aliens arrive one night and take over the planet?

Did our leaders just agree to meet their demands and cull 99% of us or something?

What in the fuck is up with this mental retardation lately...I want off this ride :story:

None of it makes a bit of sense. Not one fucking bit.

Its demonic attack. A lot of these things don’t even really benefit the people doing them. We keep having to invent convoluted theories.

For me its demonic attack and it started by everyone desperately trying to cover their ass at a worldwide level.

My uncle was outright happy that employers are required by law to mandate the vaccine. That got me thinking: Imagine being the only anti-vax kid in a family full of people who believe the vax works and are happy when the unvaxxed die. This kid has been separated from society for 18 months and counting and has blocked out all recollection of a normal school life to escape the trauma. No social services are coming to help this kid.

Democrats only "love" kids in the sense that they want to fuck them. You can't change my mind.

I don't get this at ALL.

I understand how COVID could go from humans to pets or even zoo/farm animals. But how does a virus from China get into wild animals in the US? What is the method it spreads? Did some kid with the coof pet a wild baby deer in her backyard and that became Typhoid Bambi?
Aerosolized.
It also doesn't have to jump straight human-to-deer, it could go human to rat, rat to squirrel, squirrel to deer.

Past four years or so have genuinely made me wonder if there might be any truth to that whole "LHC caused a dimensional merge" Mandela Effect theory. I'd always considered it possible that it would get like this but I didn't ever once believe it would happen so quickly nor with so little resistance. The protests in Europe are warding away the black pills for now though. Not sure if I should have faith that we'll do the same if they push any harder.

EDIT #2: The video in question is not COVID or lockdown related.

I'd like to know the context, but I am assuming dickheads in Sydney ignoring the restrictions.

From what I understand, Australia's had issues with migrant communities, especially Muslim ones ignoring the restrictions.

Their attitude towards the Government and State is based on the shit hole ones from where they're from. So they do their best to ignore everything and do their own thing.

So they just don't bother following restrictions or getting tested. Pandemic is just something the others are worried about. They ignore it. Then whenever they get busted, claim language barriers. Blame the Govt for not properly telling them. Even in cases where people go, get a test. Test positive. They still claim ignorance, not their fault, play the racial card, they didn't understand what the pandemic is.

Which is an example of the general attitude and way they're life. Checked out of the large society. Focused on their own shit.

Apparently Victoria's lockdown last year went on longer than it needed to, because they needed enough community engagement to get certain communities to actually follow the rules and take the pandemic seriously. A lot of it quietly going on so they weren't accused of "racism" and targeting certain communities. They couldn't say, "the reason you're still under it is that mainly Muslims keep going to their relative's houses with large families, catching the virus and then bringing it out across the city." That's where all the, "people are catching it in the home" thing comes from.

In Sydney, this is why the cases aren't going down. Certain areas with these populations just aren't getting tested much. Still having gatherings. Even so far that people are getting COVID, getting sick and still doing nothing. Even letting relatives just die at home with them of it. Only then do they call an ambulance. They're that checked out of everything.

Or so I gather.

EDIT: Those that disliked this, care to explain? Am I wrong on my understanding of what's going on, is it more complicated, or are you just anti-lockdown?

From what I understand all of the governments of Earth united to make things worse in relation to a powerfully unimpressive disease that we could have worked through with very little intervention.
This is Swine Flu given more internet access. It was never a big deal and Institutions needing a reason to live fucked us up. It's clear that if this were a plague level infection the WHO and the CDC would consider political options until the entire world was dead. We know that our institutions cant save us. We know that they couldn't and the shit they tell us is tired bureaucratic bullshit meant to tell someone that they did something when they did nothing.

If they ever could save us from a pandemic, they certainly won't be able to now. The boy who cried wolf is now the epidemiologist who cried pandemic. It reminds me of when I was I was a kid and would play Sim City, you had disasters (tornado, flood, fire, UFO attack, etc.) you could spawn on your city which was always fun. You also had disaster management options like a tornado siren, police and fire deployment, etc. If you pressed the tornado siren button when there wasn't a tornado, you got to watch the people run around in panic which was funny. But after 2 or 3 times, the people didn't care anymore, even if there was an actual tornado. This is like that, but IRL and far, far worse.

The governments of the world are playing Sim City IRL, clicked a button "pandemic", and we're a bunch of sims to them. And they laughed at Herman Cain's tax plan for being too close to Sim City.
