Well, apparently I've had Covid. I just got a strong positive test for "old antibodies". I've been assuming I had the virus in January '20 since I was sick for two weeks, lost a bunch of weight, and had an empty cough for a month, but I've had two negative round of antibody testing since then. The only time since those test that I haven't felt well was coming back from a trip in June when I had slight vertigo for one night, felt tired for a couple days, and assumed I was jet legged. So either that was Covid, or I must have had it asymptomatically. Who even knows...
I'm low-key hoping people will stop bugging me about the vaccine now. Maybe I've had Covid twice... my grandpa did... but I feel like a positive antibody test is probably about as good as the protection the leaky vaccine seems to be offering.
It was weirdly hard to get info on the antibody test though. I got mine at Ralphs/Krogers, and I talked to seven pharmacists and only two of them knew what I was asking for. Three or four other ones tried to sell me normal Covid tests.
