One of the first things I did after taking over the forum in 2013 was to add a wallpaper to the background which has stayed with the site continuously for 8 years now.
It's by an artist named gabmonteiro9389. I've never paid him or given him credit, so I guess I'm an asshole.

I'm getting rid of it. The question is what to replace it with. I really enjoy the comic book aesthetic, so my idea is to solicit donated pages from artists on the forum.

i.e., something like this
1. One page per artist (maybe more if you're good).
2. Feature any event from the site's history, any lolcow's life, or any relevant adjacent event that you'd prefer to illustrate.
3. Try to keep some bright colors that still pop when faded like the wallpaper is now.
4. 100% Safe for Work.
Deciding factors hinge mostly on quality of art and thematic relevance.
No rules on the margins. Call it episode, page, book name, series name, whatever you'd like. Sign your name however you'd like. Try to keep it looking like a real comic book page. I'll keep the full size images accessible somewhere.
For rewards, I like to give out free merch as a thank-you and we'll be doing fall apparel this year.
P.S. Don't be mad if I don't use yours. The bar is set pretty high by the original artist.
