As much as I like the idea I don't think stuff purely from the podcast is very representative of the site.

The paranoid part of me is wondering how long until we purity spiral from "we're removing the background for being Chris Chan related" to "discussion of Chris Chan is banned from the forums."

Nah, this is pretty unfounded. I see the change more as a result of the potential end of Christory and that we've been about more than just Chris for a long time now. We have plenty of Horrorcows here too so I don't see Josh ever putting a moratorium on Chris discussion. Even if Chris was sentenced to like ten years I doubt his subforum would ever go away. There's just way too much to talk about.

Can't wait to see the Christcurch panel.

This makes me want the background to be a collage of every major event in the site's history like an autistic Trajan's Column or medieval tapestry.

I would be too. I myself feel saddened and betrayed at my favorite clown shirted retard raping his demented mother because Sonichu told him to. But I must accept that this was always how the story was going to end. Those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it. I believe Sonichu should stay. It is a time capsule of Chris in his golden era and a reminder of why we loved him and where this community came from.

It saddens me to see it go but I think that would be an acceptable compromise. I have to assume Null has made up his mind on this and that there isn't much room for discussion. I am still in favor of keeping it site-wide but I would accept this if offered.
