sounds like they are going the federal route too which Trump refused to do. if true, its gonna be biblical.
This is probably just copium on my part, but I don't think even this administration will use the federal route for a second lockdown, at least not right away.
They've got the media on their side and the mega-corporations who are explicitly exempt from the Constitution and are de facto above the law in this country.
Posobiec himself mentioned the Biden Administration was talking with many blue state governors and that makes me think they'll try to go the same route they went with the first lockdowns where it's mostly state by state.
Florida and Texas will be defiant, as will several other red states but that's where the large corporations and the media come into play to demoralize and penalize non-compliant states without risking too much potential pushback.
A full-fledged federal lockdown is the absolute final resort when everything else has failed. As bad as things are, I don't think we've quite hit that level just yet. We're close though.
I just can't see even the Democrats being this utterly out of touch. They're not approaching this from a position of strength, even the most hubristic fuck has to know it's political and economic suicide. Begging everyone to get vaccinated, labeling everyone who doesn't as murderous Qtards, and mask mandates isn't the best plan but it sure beats the insanity of trying to force more lockdowns.
They're arrogant enough to try this shit, and I think they will at least try to do a second lockdown and will probably get away with at least the mask mandate returning.
Whether or not the lockdowns succeed is another issue altogether, but given the large corporations are fully on board with it, they likely will.
Large private corporations are de facto above the law and explicitly exempt from the Constitution. They also happen to be the ones who actually call the shots and the politicians answer to them.
