Then of course, you get a call and logs, turns out "oh yeah, about that incest" is him actually fucking his mother, and thats probably where they panicked.
2 nights ago, they were trying to do a gradual leak of information (not all at once), which leads me to believe that they had more content, and that the idea was in their mind to leak this content to KF, reddit, and other places, and not the cops first (so it may be that they are complicit in something, as had this come out of the blue and you had no involvement in anything weird, most reasonable people would also go to the police almost immediately). The fact that CwC was actually involved in actual incest is probably the wrench that was thrown into their plans.
I wouldn't put anything past anyone, including trying to groom CwC into raping his mother, wouldn't rule out that they just wanted to talk with and share porn with their hero for no other reason than "omg, look, we're talking with our favorite internet e-celeb" (sharing porn with anyone, is frankly weird, but w.e I guess?)
But rather than something too malicious, and occam's razor in mind, they probably had some kind of long term troll in mind, the most basic one I can figure would be trying to get CwC to create incest porn they could laugh at, and that backfiring.
