Some day some 90 year old ex-farmer is going to sit around looking at this coin thinking about the golden age of the free internet and remember exactly where he was on the day Chris fucked his mom.

These coins will exist long after this site, the internet as we know it, and anyone posing here are long gone.

I'm curious... If I remember correctly, a portion of the money was going to go to Chris as a license for his likeness. That isn't going to happen now, is it? There's no reason to give him any money at this point. Personally, I don't care one way or the other. I'm just buying souvenirs. I wouldn't mind a "classic Chris" coin at some point if one is available.
 
When round (heh) two happens I'll be interested in the new design.

I could be wrong but it sounded like Chris was happy getting a couple of the coins and that was it.

this is a retarded question, but is it safe to use my normal card with this? i know the farms is under attack often, and as much as i want to buy this memecoin, i don't want to put myself at risk.

Just because somebody buys a novelty coin doesn’t mean they post to the Farms. There are a lot of people following the Chris saga who might want one, especially after these recent developments. Pay in crypto if you’re concerned, that’s what Null prefers anyway. Regardless, I wouldn’t be surprised if Null purges the info once everything ships.

Correct. /biz/ have already latched on to the idea.

I don't know what sales have been like, but null mentioned that he was getting dinged several times an hour or something like that in the last day.

I'd imagine most of the new sales are non-kiwis because any of us who wanted one had our name in the hat ages ago. Ok maybe a few late comers but I still reckon new sales are mostly non kiwis, still degens, just from other sites.

I'm glad they're still going out, the idea of cancelling the coins entirely would feel a little...twittery, I guess. Then again I also never considered Chris to be harmless, just too lazy and/or retarded to find opportunities to act on his darker impulses, so the concept of a person's order having ever been contingent on them morally approving of Chris' behavior seems odd. I just figured it's no different than any other US coin: sure, the guy engraved on it may have been a dick and a degenerate, but we wouldn't be here without him.

My only question is whether that factor is that women are more sensitive about sex crimes, or that women are more likely to spend money without actually having any idea what they're spending it on.

I just checked and stock is plummeting on the coins, like 165 down from over 500 just a couple days ago. Seems the fact that no more will be made has increased demand. That and I do think Chris being so infamous now could very well increase their collector's value.
 
Uh...considering I already said this was the stupidest thing I ever bought before the recent Chris-chan developments...I kinda feel like I've left myself with nowhere to go here.
