Cortez, the gay romance partner of Mass Effect 3, just died in Phil's playthrough. The only way this is possible is if you never even bother talking to him throughout the game (you don't even have to scratch his leg, just fucking speak to him like two times)
So he's one of the only characters that Phil (completely) avoided in this lengthy-ass, stall-filled playthrough. Glad to know that insecurity is still alive and well.

Honestly, Phil would probably feel a lot better mentally if he had two days off from streaming, but he won't because of his addiction, and his desire to be seen as the victim. Plus it would go against his "I'm struggling" narrative.

Edit: actually now that I think about it, he would probably spend those days off tweeting and playing on his phone. So I don't really know if it actually would improve his mental state. All that isolation and screen time with no exercise has to make you feel like shit.

He’d just played ME2 though, dood. People will get bored if he played the same games over and over and then they won’t come to support the streams. It’s not at all like there are streamers who build their channels around playing only one game and have dedicated, supportive fanbases, nope. Being a Variety Streamer is literally the only viable way to be successful without being an idiot kid sellout.

I can imagine his life is flying by at an accelerated with how he goes about everyday. Same habits, same game, same schedule, same shit on your day off. Dude's last 10 years probably feels like 2 years at this point.
