N.Y.C. becomes first major U.S. city to mandate vaccination proof for indoor dining, gyms - Escape From New York!

New York City will require proof of vaccination for leisure indoor activities at restaurants and gyms — becoming the first major city in the United States to do so.

Mayor Bill de Blasio made the announcement at a Tuesday morning press conference. The program, also known as the "Key to NYC Pass," will be implemented mid-August during a transition period before it will be fully enforced beginning the week of Sept. 13.

It is time for people to see vaccinations as literally necessary to living a good, full and healthy life," he said. "If you're unvaccinated, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in many things."

While the mayor said he recognized that "not everyone's going to agree with this," he said the proof of vaccination will be "lifesaving."

My post was in response to the dozen or so posts i see in every Brit thread. It's usually "Britain is paki land and is fucked, no freedom" or "this wouldn't happen if you had guns". Yet i see worse shit happen in America; land of the free, home of the guns, and nothing gets done.

You have guns, you have a piece of paper that says "use guns to get government to wind their fucking necks in", it's a God given, American right or something, and yet, nobody is using guns. Nobody. Pussies.

None of these people seem to understand it's a fucking experimental drug. This is the largest human drug trial in history and while I'm not one for microchips or whatever, since these drugs don't actually seem to do anything to Covid 19 what the fuck are they actually doing? None of THE SCIENCE makes sense if you graduated from High School, it's everything opposite.

ETA: And you just know these are the same people who think the Tuskegee Experiment was a crime against humanity.
