This is a ridiculous take. They would have direct evidence from their electronic devices/service providers/SM sites if there were going to be a trial (news flash, that isn't likely). He will probably wind up with some kind of joint submission/plea agreement.

This is the most likely scenario most cases do not go to court and with the pandemic they are still going through a large backlog. Honestly if i was a prosecutor i would just try and get a plea deal get chris into a facility call it a day.
