I can appreciate your take on this, however, I fear his life is cyclical and history is just going to repeat itself over and over again. Chris STILL cannot shut his gob when talking to someone pretending to be a girl on the internet. He cannot keep intimate personal details to himself, I sincerely doubt a few years in prison is going to fix that, especially if he gets put in isolation because of the dang prison trolls.

If you're asking that in regards to that specific crime, it's because the victim is a child. It's usually done to help alleviate trauma and future victims might be afraid to come forward about their own abuse if they're afraid of getting media attention from it.
Doesn't matter if Barb presses charges or not, the police probably handed the case over to the State/County which means it doesn't matter what Barb says or does.
