I keep oscillating between 1) They are desperate and clinging to power and will be ousted soon OR 2) They are brazen and don't need to hide it anymore and we're fucked.

If someone wrote an unbiased history of coronapanic so far, and then somehow sent it back in time to the late 20th century, I think people then would likely think it's a dystopian science fiction novel - maybe even one that's too unrealistic.

The globalist tyrants seem to want everyone to live in the city, dependent on centralized business and government. So when one is more dependent on a mechanistic "society" (or lack thereof), tyrants could punish people more easily by cutting off support.

I was just in a Wawa in Philadelphia, and they put signs up to please wear a mask. And only about a third of the customers were actually doing it. None of the clerks said anything to anybody about not wearing a mask. If they're planning on another lockdown, they're going to be doing a piss poor job of enforcing it.

To be fair, in my area there is a sign on every single public place that says "vaccinated people are okay; unvaccinated people masks are mandatory" and until 72 hours ago nobody was enforcing it.

Little by little (although not as bad as I would have thought), stores are going back to the "due to CDC recommendations masks are required for everyone."

Since this asshat is an epidemiologist we can believe him when he says covid shot don't herd immunity, right? Literally getting the shot protects no one but maybe yourself if it really reduces symptoms. Of course, delta was already less virulent so maybe it doesn't do that either. Maybe all it does is make you insufferable as your body slowly turns on itself and is devoured from within.

I'm with the Golden Neckbeard and was it Mrs. Adams(?) ...just throw a pox party and get it over with. Maybe, if anything, stagger it slightly to make sure you have enough 02 for people who might need a little supplementary oxygen to get through. Hell, have a candy bowl full of ivermectin. It's like a dollar a dose and we can have our large scale test of that too while we are at it.

Also update for my area, some businesses have signs up requiring the masking of people no matter their vax status. My job did this too. Everyone has to mask again. Still seeing a lot of people going maskless on places its optional.
