I... could've sworn they said they had all the episodes of season one prepared by now. Am I going crazy, or?

I seem to remember something they said that seemed to imply that, but they posted this on August 16, 2015 at 6:05 p.m.

Incidentally, this has since been deleted from their Timeline. So thank you Google Cache.

You should still be able to see it here for a bit at

In any event, having finished only the animatic for the pilot on August 16, barely three weeks ago, is hardly consistent with having finished the entire season since.

Finally managed to read through this entire thread, holy shit.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised that Tumblr isn't buying into this shit, considering all the shitty "trans headcanons" and "representation" they shit out on a daily basis. I'd like to say that they're finally learning their lesson, but that'd be way too naive of me.

Then again, with the attitude that's being shown and all the rude snarky responses to even reasonable questions, I can't blame people not wanting to watch this. If you treat your target audience like shit, don't start crying when they don't want anything to do with you.

Pew Pew!

I'm hoping this is tumblr smartening up to exploitative progressive works, but then again the shit merch and Hayden's mouth aren't helping.

When tumblr headcanons characters as trans, that means they like them. When a canon trans character show up, then they don't care as much.

Wait...are you telling me that, despite already airing a trailer and selling shitty merchandise, this show's pilot isn't even finished?

It's supposed to come out near the end of the year, so we'll see if that happens.

"Transformer".

Also, gotta love those random unlabeled arrows on a web page.

Why do I get the feeling now that most of the bits in the promo won't even be in the actual series?
Little did we know that Hayden just added all the other characters to make it seem like a real show.

The real show is Shona having a delusional nightmare about "Cat Beasts" being voiced by trans people, and how she is better than them after stomping them to death.

Lead roles.

So they lied about having the season in post-production. Dakka... Dakka...

That's probably why they deleted the timeline post from three weeks ago saying they had just finished the animatic for the pilot.

Where's the claim that the show is in post production? Because that would be a blatant, screaming LIE if they said it.

Incidentally, here's someone on LinkedIn listing this on their resume, and they don't mention post-production.

The same person is also listed as Jordan Winsen.

He actually included the trans bullshit in his resume. This is so painful.
Probably so he can sue a potential employer for some sort of "transphobia" if he didn't get hired, or in the typical progressive mindset, thinks it's an achievement in life.

It's like saying "Yeah I got only 1 kidney" on your resume, nobody really cares that you have 1 kidney, much like most people don't care if somebody's trans.

Okay, the IMDB page claims it's in post-production.

I wonder who provided that "information?"

Also, what a fucking douchey pic.

Could they be sued for ripping off Doctor Who and South Park on their merchandise?

So...this was posted on tumblr at the beginning of this year.

http://makingofgenzed.tumblr.com/post/109006243932/gen-zed-an-animated-comedy-about-4-roommates-with

What do you guys make of it?

The thing is, while these designs are still clearly made as concept, I really dig them more than the ones we have now. It feels like at least some of the characters have more life in these than they currently do. And guess what? Shona does not seem to revolve around her transness, but she instead seems to just include it as a blog on the internet. (because I do not see any trans things beside the blog, while the trailer showed all these trans posters)
The blog itself is called "Trans & Dance" as opposed to the current "TRANSFORMER: Life & Times of a Trans* chick" and sounds far more informative as what they changed it to. Might be nitpicky, but still.
As for our druggie, she looks far more human too, with a bit "out there" fashion style, yet still acceptable and not obnoxius like Ankhbelt druggie.
Cameron... please, why is this not the final Cameron? He looks like one cool retro gamer. Guess he didn't look loser enough for them though, hence they had to make him fat and ugly. Because yea, fat and ugly people are always losers and aware of it.
Huey... gets two pictures. Less tattoos though. They should have stuck with that. Still baffled why Huey is so unimportant compared to the girls and Cameron. Probably the lack of personallity beyond "angry".

Have you guys seen their "press" page?

Alright, let's go through each of these in turn. Spoiled cause a lot of images.

The Huffpost one was released in June, which I think was shortly after the trailer debuted. The way it starts with that quote kind of makes me think of a promoted article, where they pay to have someone talk about their show. I don't know for sure if it is, but I wouldn't be surprised.

The Metro one is astonishing, because it's an article discussing a transgender superhero in the Avengers. I'm not kidding. It just so happens that they apparently asked Hayden Black about this topic, and managed to work in that he's the "writer-director-executive producer of the upcoming groundbreaking animated series Gen Zed". THEY DONT EVEN TALK ABOUT IT. I also love him complaining about lazy writing, tropes and stereotypes. I think i've got irony poisoning now.

The Mary Sue one is the same one that has been posted earlier in the thread, I think, but what's interesting is the quote. See where it says "...special..." which directly implies someone called the show special?
GENZED5.PNG

This is called quote mining! Basically just quoting stuff out of context to make things look good. I could do that with this post and end up with "Astonishing... transgender superhero in the Avengers... Hayden Black!"
Hey, it's technically all there!

The BubbleBlabber one is another short one right after the trailer was uploaded that just talks about its TRANS LEAD. Only notable thing here is that they cite Mr. Garrison from South Park as the most famous transgender character in cartoons. I wouldn't exactly say he's a positive representation of trans people, given how crazy he is.

The Velvet Onion one is Black's interview, which was posted earlier. For some reason I can't find the word "groundbreaking" in the article. It says when I search for it that it's there, but for some reason it's not going to it.

https://archive.is/krZ98
The Pride one is just another interview.

The Gay Times one just redirects to the Gay Times homepage. Searching for Gen Zed brings up unrelated articles, and searching Hayden Black brings up nothing.

https://archive.is/CtYqh
The House of Alexander one is just some guys random blog post describing the show.. Probably still had to pay the guy for it.

https://archive.is/EzirF
And the Accidental Bear one is once again just a description of the show.

I couldn't get the Webvee one to open, but it didn't have a quote anyway.

There a couple of the Modern Classic Parody images on the page too, like the South Park one just dropped right in the middle of the page.

So it would seem there is a little bit of trickery going on here.
