Phil lies about the oddest shit. He said that this chair was not advertised as a gaming chair. That is just such obviously a lie just by looking at the chair lol. What else would it be? An office chair? It has cup holders. Im assuming he saw it was 400 bucks and assumed it was good.
I still wonder if DSP always buys the most expensive item because it's his version of flexing or because he genuinely believes more expensive is always better. Why not both?

I would say both but like in an alternating way. When he tries to convince himself he got the best version of the item, the most expensive must be the best. When showing off to the 3 paypiggies struggling to scrape together $1.30 for a tip, its to show off what he can buy

I also think this is true, which is why I actually think the laptop was gifted, the chair and Xbox were clearly him.

The laptop could've been MUCH, MUCH more expensive and the fact it wasn't some alienware that becomes a space heater when you play the dinosaur game on Chrome makes me think that was actually gifted to him.

While I see your point about the laptop, it could also be that even DSP knew that if he bought a "gaming" laptop, he would no longer have an excuse NOT to play PC games.

Now THIS is a first - a mid-stream arguing with randos tweet

"I've always paid taxes on my tips and publicly talked about it for years" :story:

Sooo..

"yes I always do this thing you're showing me but I don't know how this thing I just claimed I do applies to me, cause I do indeed do this thing"

if you say so phil.

Anyway, this chair, all it does is make it even more obvious how bad his setup is, like there are people who just started streaming in the single to no view bowels of twitch that have better configured set-ups than him. Is it really that hard to move the laptop, mic and camera from the one TV snack table to grandma's tv dinner table since he's looking in that general direction anyway.

wait, it's Phil, unplugging unused extension cords apparently is too much work.

We need a Geno Samuel style doc on Phil :smug:
I have started this journey, Episode 3 will be 4th place, and number 1 in the United States.

Now that ThatAnonyMouse is trying to run off the Internet to save face. Just throwing this out there that his real name is Jacob Chaney and he's just as much as a fucking loser as Phil, Timbo, JamesTheLesser, etc. In fact, he looks like a cross between James and Phil.
I have seen the Lad before on a Sims stream. I wonder how his weight loss is going? Hey @That Anony Mouse have you been doing your push ups on camera yet? I am sure you can knock out 25 in 25 by now.

He buys expensive things because he saw a 0% APR tag on them and assumes that means its basically free because he only has to pay like $5 a month more on his credit card bill and makes minimum payments. Its a chair buyer's market!

This is literally how he thinks, he has videos about how he thinks debt works.

Can I get some context for this? I haven't been checking this thread this week.

He's said it was an office chair because it has a USB cord to plug into a computer. For what? He doesn't know, either lumbar massage or heat, he has no idea. He also said the 2 extra large cup holders are "for show". I do wonder what an office looks like in his mind.

Also I don't really get his insistence on demanding that a viewer bought the chair. Viewers give him money, what the fuck would the difference be if he got money from viewers and then a chair or a chair? Is he repeating this nonsense for the IRS or something? I can't even fathom it.
