CWCki Improvement Thread

I mind the fact that it's on without any evidence, though. Considering that it for some reason is not included as a Post-2nd Exile Saga, it doesn't reflect well on the author's potential credentials.

Why would anyone start a page with nothing to put on it? You're calling it a saga but all you have is a placeholder? Nothing but unsourced allegations about someone who may or may not be presently communicating with Chris. Grandiose claims that she's a new sweetheart. What point does it serve to alert Chris to this? 100% ween from start to finish.

I don't know if any of this has already been brought up. here's an idea for improvement.

I think that if people are going to change things around, they should at least keep the humor in everything. That doesn't mean it can't be factual as well. Most of the great humor is what's grounded in reality.

The intense trolling is over with now. Now we're just seeing updates. Anything on the CWCki that is not true should be removed. Speculation should be allowed, because it leaves something for the reader. Speculation should not be mixed in with the factual content, though. I think it should get it's own tab. Speculation without any real substance should go. Outright false stuff should just be done away with. The best CWC humor is what's real, not what's exaggerated.

Also I heard about the CWCki getting into hot water over some things not being shared? I'm not asking that you guys share the alleged recording or confession of CWC crying over Bob's death. Some things aren't supposed to be shared. Still, use some reasonable discretion. If the info you're hoarding fills a gap in the Kacey saga, put it on the CWCki. There's no point in hoarding info.

Some things to keep in mind:
  • I don't think there's much of anything that we haven't already dropped. We were itching to drop stuff because it was hilarious. We were always looking for excuses to drop stuff. The primary backpressure against us releasing stuff was that weens would immediately squeal on you to Chris, in hope that they could dislodge you and become the next e-girlfriend. This started happening in the early days, almost immediately. (You can see in some old IRC logs how someone tried to squeal and got caught and banned.) Now, despite that, we were always looking for ways to leak stuff. Chris was suspicious, sure, but if you could provide him with even the barest excuse for why something got leaked, he almost always bought it. I can't remember how many times we told Chris something of his got "hacked". A really fun one is when Chris sends the same message to like three people. He's too lazy to write multiple messages, so we drop that stuff without any hesitation.
  • When there are things that slipped through the cracks, they're little files scattered on any one of a dozen different people's hard drives, most of whom aren't involved with Chris shit anymore. It's probably a few computers ago for most of them. Calling it "hoarding" is kind of a misunderstanding of the situation. If I wasn't convinced before, I'm convinced now: bit rot is a real thing.
Heh, these people have moved on and some of them have families now.

Still patiently anticipating most of the Catherine emails and texts. I can wait for the longest time; except when it comes to my stomach or bladder or course.
Oh, that's up to Catie.
Chris crying over bob's death? I thought chris really didn't care much for bob anyways, much less cry over him.
Chris loved his father very much.

I didn't really mean hoarding, but if insiders have info they should share it. There's no reason not to. I get everything you're saying.

Also, I don't care if I ever hear it, but is there really a recording of CWC crying over Bob? I've heard that a couple times and you would know better than anyone else.

It's mostly a lack of motivation and bitrot. I might try going through my pictures to see if anything hasn't been dropped.

Yes.

does the recording still even exist or has the person who recorded it deleted it by now
