They edited the phone number and not the name, because these messages were sent to their phone using another number (the one on the left), which they listed as Chris in their contacts for the purpose of this screenshot.
Anyone that gets mad at info they "knew" getting posted first by someone else is a clout-chaser and needs to stop sperging out, imo.
