Bella can still have manipulated Chris into actually doing the things he's accused of while being a worthless sack of garbage, as unfortunate as that is. Just because she's fucked doesn't necessarily mean she's lying, and it doesn't make that call any less true if the intentions behind it were ill. Of course, that's only if there's provable proof.

To follow up, if she really was abusing animals it's probably just an extension of that. Killing something is exerting the ultimate control over it, and is the most obvious form of superiority. I'm just glad I haven't read anything that seems to indicate a hair trigger on her temper.
