I doubt if she was taking steroids in school that it was for performance enhancing reasons, more likely that she was doing some kind of hormonal therapy to fix her high test levels. It's interesting that she does have high test because it could also be a sign of being intersex/ having an extra chromosome, although I think if that were the case she wouldn't have any ovaries. Regardless of the reason, having high test has probably gave her more of a masculine mindset, a lot of people with this condition end up being lesbian like her too. It would also explain her bad acne and probably her terrible health in general.
A lot of her vehement hatred towards trannies could be a result of some kind of internal anger at having high test naturally, having to take hormonal therapy and therefore perceiving herself as something like a tranny/ being ashamed of her sexuality, and venting that hatred onto others.
