Jazz and Sander have grown up with very skewed ideas about sex and boundaries. Like, we see them doing slumber parties despite they're 20 years old. A few weeks ago, I would have tell you that this is an impossible scenario. But after the horrors we've seen this past week... oh boy.

People talked about how Chris was a harbinger of things to come in the internet universe. I think it's going to turn out there's a lot of incest families hiding in plain sight because of kids with poor reality-differentiation skills getting on free porn sites and seeing wall-to-wall incest scenarios. This is a generation of kids that has grown up hearing nothing but "love wins, true love is never wrong." They've been told sexual taboos are for the breaking and that it's a worthy, noble cause to fight for people's right to buttfuck whoever they want. But everyone still wants to give these weird, overly-close families the benefit of the doubt. People want rock-solid proof before even considering that such a taboo has been violated.

I think you are correct, but also, I think is more likely to happen in certain specific families such as the Jennings, families that are currently exposed to an audience, because those are the most dysfunctional (reason why they are featured on tv in first place).

Sander's weird grin is duper's delight. He's ensured that his victim will never have another relationship and will always be socially dependent on him. And he gets to do it all to the sound of applause and internet asspats.

Could be the mother. Some narcissistic parents will push sexual boundaries because they don't care or they feel that they should have control over their kids body no matter what. It'd fit why Jeannette pushed Jazz to be trans and why Jazz was very fixated on vaginas as a kid, I don't think she's an outright pedo, but she has no sense of physical boundaries and will point out or poke at their child's genital areas if something bothered her. It could be why Sanders is close to Jazz since victims more often relate to other victims, and isolate themselves from others who were treated differently.

It wouldn't have to be physical abuse. The whole family was exposed to degenerate shit when Jeanette decided Jazz was the wrong sex. Part of growing up involved pride rallies and drag shows where the family were guests of honor. There's enough weird shit to emulate through osmosis if no one actually touched the kids first. What do you mean by "showed up"? She was a very active member of the family and already a therapist when Jazz was born. Her dissertation (starring Jazz) came later, of course.

Jeanette also could have known, and used an engineered trans media circus to cover up the horrible secret so she could still get to have her "perfect" family. Jazz's rage and meltdowns and binges could be fueled by something other than just being transed by his mom. The dad's spineless passivity could be withdrawal and denial cause he can't confront it.

The problem with the childhood abuse theory is that the change in Jazz and Sander's personalities seems to have only happened in the past few years. I think the trauma is much more recent and the obvious candidate has to be Jazz's surgeries.

Sander almost certainly has some form of PTSD from his position as troon wrangler. This is a relatively recent phenomenon, he might even be the holotype, but unfortunately I don't think he will be the last. We've all heard of being your brother's keeper, having to look out for a family member who can't look after themselves, but this is something else. Unfortunately not every Gilbert Grape gets a happy ending.

This kid has seen some horrible shit. We can joke about him helping her dilate, but we know for a fact they were on the same floor of the same house. Imagine just chilling out in your room and hearing grunting, moaning and cries of pain from across the hall, knowing full well what's going on in there. Imagine going to take a piss and hearing noises from the toilet, or walking in a few hours later and seeing - or worse, smelling - the blood. Imagine being woken up in the middle of the night, hearing something from the next room, wondering if she's going to call out your name - Jeanette's in a different part of the house - and what you're going to walk in and find. You remember what happened at the hotel in New York.

Imagine having to cajole your sister into getting out of bed for the first time today, or checking in on whether she's showered this week. Imagine seeing your sister destroy her body with binges, trying to get her to stop, but nothing you say or do seems to work. Imagine having to talk your sister down from the metaphorical ledge, knowing what's happened to her. Imagine her asking what she has to live for, and not really knowing what to say, but knowing it's important. Imagine your mother asking you to keep an eye on those pill bottles, in case she tries something. Imagine coming home and finding the house eerily quiet, and praying to god that she's just taking a nap.

Imagine not being able to say no, because your life you've been told that anyone who questions this is an evil monster.

Well, it probably won't be a pandemic of children by incest, since autism is more likely to occur when mom's closer to menopause.

But it'll be more along the lines of more parents publicly being injured by tard rage before we get several cases of incest.

It's already here. In areas where there are depressed economic conditions and little in the way of meaningful social supports, but poverty isn't itself the main driver. It seems to be related to what prior posters have said, hopelessness, meaninglessness, isolation, boundary erosion, and actual retardation from multiple generations of all of it.

trauma or at the very least feelings of resentment and sadness from being a caregiver of a young age is very real, you know of the cases where a young child has to take care of the mother and needs to run the house, help her with wiping and all that stuff and getting their own childhood/young adolesence deleted.
