There’s definitely some awful people in this world, and while this guy says he has no remorse, he is obviously cognizant of his wrong doings as he asks for the death penalty. We can discuss exactly what remorse means, but my main post was in regards to coming to terms with cognizance of wrong doings. If you think Bella is like this guy then that means she’s spending the rest of her life feeling like she deserves “an eye for an eye” and for people to do all of the bad things she’s done to people to her. That kind of mental anguish was the topic of my post. I’d also point out I don’t think she’s even like this guy in the video, as he readily admits everything, while she’s continuously back pedaling and trying to hide everything. If you truly believe you’ve done nothing wrong, you don’t try to hide anything, and you can only think you’ve done something wrong if you have some conceptualization of shame or guilt.

He just doesn't care, he doesn't show any emotion or real introspection at any point even when dealing with the press or courts. He killed him because he wanted to kill him, and now he's not going to beat around the bush and take the death penalty.
I don't think they're the same but my point is it's a mistake to assume all experiences are universal or that everyone perceives the world in the same way on some basic fundamental level.
