This is one of those things that makes me feel indifferent to racism. None of the self-hating white people who enable this care how this unconditional tolerance is a drain on society. We can't have a good quality of life, if any quality of life at all, if we're just going to let people, black or otherwise, do whatever they want.

What makes me sad is knowing there are black leaders and activists who unironically have no problems with it. Is this really how they want their people to be perceived? Why are they embracing negative stereotypes they once insisted were bad for their people? They can't complain about whites hating them, then turn around do things that cause that hatred in the first place.

I've been seeing these sorts of things for quite awhile (also a lot of "Asking for 'civility' is white people shit") talk. Typically, as expected, it's aimed mostly at white people (half the time posted by self-hating white people,) and men specifically. It's a not so subtle complaint that some people would have the audacity to disagree, offer a different perspective and inject nuance into the conversation. Real advanced and prosperous civilizational stuff.
