I can't find it right now, but her obituary was scant on details and said they asked for donations to a suicide prevention fund.

Having said that despite being a bastard, its a real pain in the ass to separate a kid from yourself if your name is on their birth certificate and a dozen other places in the federal system. At that point you are better off raising the kid as your own. there are enough cases where the man still pays child support even when the DNA test proves its not his for it to just not be worth it. they certainly dont pay spec ops enough to cover lawyer fees for a drawn out court battle.
