No, I don't think the rise of women being exposed to gore & cp has to do with true crime. It's a completely different beast. If you compare the pictures shown on gore blogs vs. true crime blogs, the focus on aesthetics & romanticization of the injury is obvious.

Especially not CP - I don't think it's a far stretch to say that someone who reads erotica on fanfiction sites featuring children will escalate to porn featuring young actors, to potentially escalating to seeking out CP. Like I said before though, this is a lot of assumptions I'm making.

Null's theory that no relative of a federal agent can possibly face consequences is laughable bordering on schizophrenic. Imagine how many glowies there are and how many relatives they have. Anyone hoping to see a congressional hearing on ILJ is stupid, but acting like there will be literally zero consequences is even stupider.

I'm not going to argue with a bunch of Q boomer shit about how we're all just cogs in the machine, but we'll see within a month or so whether or not being the daughter of some mid-level glowies is enough to absolve you of all wrongdoing. ILJ probably won't be ruined for life by this, but she's probably in for a rough few decades barring some sort of out-of-country witness protection style disappearance.

Business owner reporting for duty: It's worth pointing out here that if an IC does not make a certain threshold, they dont even really have to pay taxes on it. Likewise, if an employer doesnt pay one specific IC over a certain threshold, THEY dont have to give a 1099. I believe it is $500 but it could be closer to $1000, I can't really recall. The logic being, from what I recall from when I have paid ICs, is if you hire a helper for the day and pay them $75 bucks for a few hours or something, you dont have to go filling out a bunch of tax paperwork about it, it's on them to report the income if they need to. They also changed some of the rules on this because of all the fuckery with companies like Uber and how they treat their "contractors"
