I was thinking about Jack and Caiti and laughing when a thought hit me.

If Jack was even a little less of a thirsty beta both of thier lives would be better, let me explain Jack can't fuck her due to her "Too small vagina" or whatever bullshit she made up and she's a 2001-2010 era GOTIS who latched onto Jack in a desperate attempt to get E-fame. But if Jack realised he could play the field even just a little he'd probably be with some GOTIS who lets him fuck her and she'd probably be attached to someone who isn't part of a rapidly dying company.

Funny how small choices can make your lives so much worse.

Critical Thinking: Jack thinks it's critical that he make a show about riding rollercoasters.
Long Term Thinking: Jack has been thinking about riding rollercoasters for at least several months now.
Plain Old Thinking: Jack thinks rollercoast go woosh.

So, I was recently introduced to a show on Netflix, called The Midnight Gospel. Essentially it is the animators from Adventure Time taking audio from a podcast called The Duncan Trussell Family Hour and turning it into an animated show.

Why am I mentioning this? I'm willing to go on record predicting that the next thing Rooster Teeth will creatively steal is The Midnight Gospel, but set to old RT podcast/Drunk Tank episodes.

Didn't Jack get with Caiti when she was a 19yo fangirl and he was 28? It always baffles me how hard RT tries to pander to a woke audience given their pasts and how they got their audience in the first place.
From where I'm sitting Jack and Caiti are likely stuck with each other. Caiti doesn't have any actual skills, connections, or income that I know of, and Jack's best days generally are behind him so he probably can't stomach giving up half of his assets to cut the knot. If they divorce both of them will end up worse off.

No, because their guides weren't great. They'd take days to work out a video for 1 achievement, meanwhile turbosped69420 out in russia would upload how to get all of the achievements in a day.

The guides suffered from "needing" scripting and asset creation when it should really have just been "here's the achievement, here's what you do, achievement unlocked".

Oh man you just reminded me too. When Ray started streaming while still at RT they ended up commandeering his Twitch account to make it the RT one and made a rule that him and anyone at RT who wanted to stream had to do it from the RT account. Then maybe like a month or less after he leaves it's overturned and everyone is solo-streaming, and encouraged to at that. What a kick in the balls.

My point though was it's no surprise they weren't getting paid that much in 2012-2015, to take him saying that and apply it to AH today just wouldn't make sense.

If Ray was talking about being extremely poor during his AH time in Austin I'm pretty surprised. My AH viewing years were the Ray years up to a couple years after he left and they all made it seem like they were pretty well off. Buying houses, going on international vacations, etc.


Does Ray still live in Austin or has he moved in the years since he left RT?

As far as I'm aware, he and Tina still live in Austin.

It could very well mainly be that Ray mainly stuck to just Let's Plays and Achievement Guides that hindered his paycheck compared to someone like Michael and Jack.
