Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

So I decided to break down one of these "Unvaxxed account for nearly all our covid deaths" articles.

This one, specifically. So at first they decide to lump in all 11,600 deaths over the whole damn pandemic, most of which there was no shot available. This is a bit like starting the timer for one sprinter's 100m dash from when they were flying over to Japan, and letting their opponent be timed at the start of the race, and then tell them they are terrible.

So, they do admit to some vax deaths, 26 to be exact. Now, the shots were more widely available around when? March or April? Time kind of loses meaning, but I went with March. Going by the average rate of death that was about 511 death. So 26/511 is around 5% of the deaths. I mean this sounds like the shot worked, right? Well, Alabama does have some of the worst uptake, still only around 33% vaxxed. At the start of March it was around 7% vaxxed, April was 15% and then by May it reached 28% and sort of limped to 33% from there. I feel like I should average these weights together now to get a better sense of the average vax percent (around 24%), but sure, it could have helped some of the olds who took it, probably.

They could probably still sell a number like 95% of the deaths were unvaxxed recently (even though it should still be considered in relation to its expected share of the population, where it's 15% of what's expected), but they just want to get greedy and go with 0.22% of the deaths, even though that's so wildly biased.
The reported breakthrough cases and hospitalizations, at least in the US, are complete gibberish due to the way they're compiled. An unvaccinated person who enters a hospital, for any reason, will be swabbed and if they show positive they'll be marked down as a Covid case. A vaccinated person will not be swabbed unless they're literally dying of pneumonia and even then they might not be. The vaccines are safe and effective therefore there is no need to check whether they're safe or effective, checkmate.

Present with a broken leg? OD'd on Fentanyl? Have a brain tumor? Have you had the jab sir? No? Well we need to swab you. I'm sorry to have to tell you sir that you have Covid-19 and that's what we'll be writing down as the reason for your admission. They want that 13K Fed money and the CDC really wants to juice the numbers to scare the sheep into getting the jab.

Compare the numbers reported in Israel and the UK with the US. Is there something unique about America that vaccinated people aren't catching Covid and aren't ending up in hospital? Of course not.

Rogan is the closest thing to a covid skeptic who is able to reach an audience without getting immediately deplatformed. As a result, he's considered a gateway to the alt-right and q. So people like hasan want to cut him off from the internet cause they're budget fascists.

Type something like "Joe Rogan don't take vaccine" and you'll end up with nothing but hitpieces, but not the original video where he said something along the lines of he doesn't think young, healthy people need it (I can't find the original video).

The scientific paper he was referring to discussed an issue that was completely non controversial in virology prior to 2020. Non sterilizing vaccines are inherently dangerous because they allow transmission, replication and shedding of virus while alleviating the worst symptoms. This is NOT good, in fact it has the potential to be really, really bad.

Respiratory viruses tend to become more infectious but less virulent over time as they respond to the evolutionary pressure presented by human behavior. Strains that make people sick quickly do not usually spread well. People who are unwell do no go to work, do not go to cinemas or gyms or restaurants. They stay in their sick beds or they end up dead, and dead people are a really poor vector for infection. This is the likeliest explanation as to why SARS 1 died out, it was too deadly.

Non sterilizing vaccines interfere with this evolutionary path. Deadlier strains can transmit among the vaccinated without debilitating their hosts. Each vaccinated person acts as a gain of function medium for the virus. The vaccines give enough protection to prevent the usual cytokine storm that leads to severe illness, but not enough to prevent replication and shedding.

Thankfully there are no signs that this is happening with Covid, at least not yet. Probably because there is a large enough number of the unvaccinated to prevent it. We know that natural immunity to Covid is extraordinarily effective at preventing transmission and shedding, and we have sufficient natural herd immunity to prevent a no shit ZA strain. Saying that we don't know what effect the vaccines are having on people who have already caught Covid, recovered, but have gotten the jab. Like a lot of things we aren't looking into this because, again, the vaccines are safe and effective so there's no reason to.

When you're playing water pong, you don't drink the water because you're all using the same ping pong ball. Instead, the water is a substitute for your drink—e.g. taking pulls from a beer can—which helps with keeping things clean and centralizing trash. Otherwise, the floor of this building would be getting sticky with beer. When you're playing with beer, I guess people are just more focused on getting drunk to worry about shared germs—though there's usually a water cup for dunking and "cleaning" the ping pong ball in between throws.

The point being, this Aaron Fritschner is a retard who clearly did not have a normal college career. In fact, there's this anti-frat tone throughout their tweets which makes it quite obvious to me that Aaron Fritschner is a dumb GDI who felt emasculated and excluded by frat bros, to the point he has no real experience with a simple game college men play when drinking. In other words, he's a fucking loser who is mad at the internet.

Cope, seethe, and dilate, Aaron. Maybe it will make up for the fact that in college you were attending lesbian poetry slam competitions while everyone else was having fun and drinking together.

I've been to lots of drinking parties and they've always substituted the beer for water, but likely because beer is expensive where I live and people are avaricious

I missed you autists.

Anyway, here is the director of the CDC just outright stating that vaccines don't prevent the spread of COVID. I feel like this should be a bigger story than it is, but I'm sure I'm taking it out of context.

well every country does it differently stupid. germany was light with lockdowns and is pretty much fully open again (only real large scale activities are still restricted), but you still have to wear a mask in some places.
People are fine with most of it because they can see how good our government managed corona compared to other ones. unemployment is below 6% again, the budget still doesnt look good, but it looks alot better than what every other nations budget looks like. there is a open and healthy debate about whats next...
Hey man, all power to you if it works. You Germans are nothing if not efficient, but having seen this firsthand I can't help but feel that your countrymen would gladly sign a piece of paper every time they'd need to take a shit as long as the government gave you some reason for doing so and were efficient in its execution.
Germany is also the only country where the media is not 100% globohom agenda for some reason, the biggest news paper has been blasting the government for months over corona regulations.
I don't know about that. You guys did almost single handedly trigger the migrant crisis by saying you could take it.

Today on the radio the DJ said either my state (southern) or my area in the state (which I'm not sure what constitutes as my area actually) had less than 40% vaccinated.

I have yet to see a decent reason as to why I, a healthy early 20s individual, should take an experimental "vaccine" that doesn't even really work for a virus with a 98% survival rate.

A woman at my church with TDS and muh vax was not in church this Sunday because guess what, she got COVID despite having been vaccinated. Whodathunk.

Well we could take it. the problem was not the amount but the mindset and the communication. It was an unstructured mess fueld by bleeding hearts. but unlike the US, sentiment changed very fast to a point where there is debate now if criminals should do their time in germany before beeing send back or beeign send back directly.
the bleeding hearts are losing ground fast.

well yes. as long as there is work and the trains run on time...

Work just put out an email saying that according to CDC guidelines they are now requiring masks for unvaccinated workers (ignoring the fact that actual CDC guidelines require masks for ALL people due to the "cases" in our region.

I've put in my two weeks. I'm done with this shit, let these people mask up till the heat death of the universe.

Then CNN later on had a NYT "reporter" who justified Obama's 60th birthday party by saying it is "a sophisticated, vaccinated crowd" unlike sporting events or Sturgis.

Ah but who has to bail out shit tier euro countries like Spain, Greece Portugal Ireland and Italy?

Here we don't have to get vaccinated in order to work somewhere... Yet. I'm going on an interview for new job and hope they don't bring it up. They can tecnically not force me. But they can act foolish and hire someone who is vaccinated over me. Fingers fuckin crossed.

Edit: faking a vaxx card is a no go. They have a unique QR code.

I think Italy didnt get a bailout, they got Japanification.
and well yes, but you have to understand that the euro is very important for german business, much more important than refinancing a couple of billion in debt.
those bailout were a net positive for us, the Pigs keep paying their debt and our debt has now a pretty negative rate from beeing the main safe EU bond.

And politicians wonder why some people don't trust them.

posted on my provincial reddit, can be easily transalated
''when you see a anti-vax manifesto freshly deleted by the mods''
I don't go regularly on reddit but the last few day a pretty sizable portion of the userbase started to question the discourse and the soon to be applied vaccine pass, if it doesn't confirm Reddit ''bugmen'' state I don't know what it mean.
Hope it wouldn't end like tchernobil

What's with blue checkmarks and thinking they'd outshoot the blue collar and rural crowd they love to hate?
Not just that, but I love when blue checkmarks say things like "I wish more people would die so that we started taking COVID more seriously."

All they know is that being scared of COVID makes you good. Anything that opposes that makes you bad.

I also love the ones that will rip someone for "not using their platform to push vaccines" even when they are already vaccinated. I just love that anyone that says getting the shot is a personal decision is now the enemy. It is absolutely stunning watch just how fast in these last 18 months that people just gave up their freedoms for the illusion of safety and get pissed when others don't do the same. Bonus points for people now saying that "you don't have the right to spread COVID and get others sick." These people have lost their minds.

Should we rip or trolling them by saying thank you for helping Pzifer to do very high profits with a cheap vaccine? One guy even pondered if Pzifer have some monopoly?
