So, does the Utah bar have to actually waste time investigating Skordas, or can they just consider the source and toss the complaint in the trash?
Probably has a better personality too.
That fish calls its parents every Sunday for at least an hour and give generously to charity.

As I read each paragraph, I could hear the ambient, phantom whines and drawn-out groans of a petulant 3rd grader coming in from recess.

"UUUUUHHHHHGGGGGHHHHH, Josh just retained Mr. Skordas to haraaaaaasss meeee!" "UUUGGHHH---can't you just tell Josh to leave me alone and make Skordas go awaaaaaay?"

There is no requirement to take it at the face value... is there?
When deciding upon a motion to dismiss, sure, and only in the complaint. This is not the complaint.

As far as I am aware, he hasn't filled a bar complaint against Skordas.

Oh, I thought he had. When this is tossed, he probably will. Complaining to a higher authority is Russ's MO. Russ, here's a thought: Maybe Skordas knows YOUR history of harassing and bullying people and wanted to stop you from bothering Josh before your harassment could escalate like it did with Erika.

Wow, when GodBear hears a plea from the Farms, "Please let Russ do something interesting soon, we're starting to infight out of boredom!" he fucking PROVIDES!

This is completely out of left field, and more interesting then even the content I think, has to be the reason. It was already noted, but something must have gone SPECTACULARLY wrong in Russ's plans lately, wether it was a massive (though private) rejection of his PAC by some important players, a woman Russ was stalking who he was sure would soon kiss him in a way that helped with his disability has dropped the hammer on him (or had her non-manlet boyfriend pay Russ a visit - and let me tell ya, the nerdiest toothpick from your high-school's library club could intimidate pipsqueak Russhole) or something else we cannot even guess at has gone sour in a big bad way.

And so Russ retreated to seethe and cope, and this was how he coped! :story: And unlike Failbook or Twatter, once he's filed something with the court, there's no waking up and 'oh shit what did I just say!' and deleting the post/tweet like he so often does. He's gotta wear this now, and suffer the consequences.

And consequences will never be the same. (Hail Saint Jessie Slaughter.)

Can you elaborate? He claims to have done exactly that in his filing.

Starts at the bottom of the very first page. Claims to have filed an ethics complaint with the Utah State Bar last month.
Ignore my comment, apparently I'm retarded.

They just get volunteers to do this investigation. So, technically, they aren't wasting time themselves. And even if they find anything wrong, there is nothing they can do as per their own admission. "Despite the serious consequences that the unauthorized practice of law can have on innocent victims, the unauthorized practice of law is not a crime in Utah. The Committee itself cannot arrest people who violate SCR 14-802 or impose monetary sanctions. The Committee also cannot file lawsuits on behalf of complainants."

So Russell claims he's filed an ethics complaint with the Utah State Bar against Skordas. Anyone here able to shed light on how that process usually goes, and the chances of us getting a copy of the complaint?

I still say that he will end up suing Skordas next.
Yeah it’s starting to look like Russ is taking the first steps in going after Skordas.
I’m kinda split 50/50 on whether he’ll actually try to bring a suit against him though. He’s clearly becoming more deranged so, he just might do it.

I actually thought Russ would have gone after his defense attorney when he ended up having to plead guilty.

I think it's this. He was probably trying to get one of the big Nevada Sex Workers advocacy groups to endorse him. They probably did a quick background check and told him they wanted nothing to do with him and to stop contacting them.

I'm sure he will sue Skordas for something, maybe for taking Null's case. He doesn't seem to grasp that Skordas can take whoever he wants as a client, and Null can retain anyone he wants as his lawyer as long as he can afford it. It boils down to IT'S NOT FAIR (for Russ). He fully expected Taylor to be in the courtroom for his first suit and that she'd argue her own case or at least he could question her. He expected the same thing when he sued Ariana. During the sidebar talk while they were waiting for Russ to show up late to his own trial, the judge asked Skordas if Russ thought Ariana would be there herself, and Skordas said yes. Furthermore, Russ expected to be able to get a date in exchange for dropping his airtight case supported by his awesome evidence! I thought his ranting after the trial about how he would have won if the judge had let him show a blurry picture of a security guard was funny. As was explained, he couldn't even state a claim so there was no point in showing evidence.

I'd settle for a court document saying there's no way to establish the Farms' responsibility in the alleged an hero'ing of Mr. Legendary and Revered Developer.
Unfortunately I doubt it would ever go that far. Even if the court were to accept all this nonsense in the light most beneficial to Russ, it has nothing to do with his claims. He can't try to use alleged damages against non-parties to help his own lolsuit (he's assuredly tried this before, and of course failed). Nor does the fact that some blog author has a thread here make her rantings evidentiary. It's all irrelevant.

If Josh Moon was caught in the act of raping and murdering hobos he might be in legal trouble but not from Russ.

I swear, Russell should give up his current career as a janitor and become a gravedigger instead. He'll dig 'em plenty deep, that's for sure.
The farther away Russell stays from a cemetery, the less likely he is to be mistaken for a re-animated zombie. And attacked.

It really could be just about anything that was frustrating or humiliating enough. If they can't lash out directly at whoever has angered them, Narcs are perfectly capable of displacing that rage and need to punish onto somebody else. They'll take it out on employees, their kids, a weaker spouse, or potentially even a stranger who makes an honest mistake anybody sane would forgive and let slide.

Russell, being at the bottom of any hierarchy, and having nobody weaker in his life that he can do this to, may have decided that adding fuel to his existing lolsuit against Null was good enough.

But it's not unreasonable to think that this thread, and information about Russell contained herein, came up in a conversation while he was trying to get support for his PAC, and that he was rejected on those grounds.

The sudden, renewed tumescence of his hateboner for Skordas is certainly interesting, however. You'd think going after Null with the story about Byuu's alleged suicide would be enough; no need to bring Skordas into it. So yeah, I can't help but wonder what prompted that.

Holy shit this new filing is the most insane yet. Saying you "fake sued" someone in a court filing, fucking classic. Just openly admitting that he wasted the court's time with a bad faith lawsuit as a "publicity stunt". And damn he is really still seething over the Erika thing, it has nothing to do with his "case" against the Farms but he cannot stop bringing it up so he can "explain his side" yet again. Calling her mentally ill is pretty disgusting, he has absolutely bought into his own delusional narrative that he was just a good guy trying to be her friend and she blew up at him for no reason, the crazy bitch. He learned nothing from getting his peepee spanked in court, it only triggered his narc rage.

And I agree that his rage has clearly been building up lately, and it will inevitably continue to grow as all of his romantic, political, and litigious efforts continue to amount to nothing but humiliation. The question is not if he will lash out but how. Hopefully not with violence, but you never know what someone this fucking crazy is capable of, narcs are especially dangerous. I know this comparison has been made before but Russ definitely reminds me of Jarrod Ramos, the Capital Gazette shooter. The paper published an article on a court case where Ramos was convicted of harassment/stalking, Ramos furiously accused the paper of libel etc. for daring to report the results of a public trial, and when they wouldn't retract he walked into the newsroom with a shotgun and killed five people. I hope that Russ is too pussy to act out violently, he seems pretty meek in IRL confrontations such as when the judge took him to task for "there will be blood". Also I don't think he has a gun and doubt he'd be able to get one with his conviction. But who knows, maybe he'll end up stabbing an Instathot or bashing her over the head with his keytar or something. After CWC I'm realizing cows are more capable of doing really fucked up things than we think.
