But what if I am trans-blood type?

The double standard in effect. How would she react if she got sent the same comments, only replacing "cis" with "trans"
This. I am not sure how people can not see double standards like this and this happens in so many places too. Right here, you can see things like Cis-scum etc, them not getting that a hormone defect is pretty much not normal, whether they like it or not. Cis is, by definition, normal and that is that. It doesn't make being trans a bad thing however, but well.. not normal. Saying anything else is just wrong. And if they can not cope with it, that is sadly, their problem.

Not exactly a great argument, since arguably, our blood types should be on IDs.

Also Steph's face looks like Dobson's blue bear screaming about sexist crap.

Labelle seems to have snapped after that girl in the other post complained about being labeled and bullied for being cis*.

Can't wait until she starts sending her growing fanbase to attack particular people she hates.
I personally feel that it would be a hilarious honor to be attacked by these people. All of the blind, cisphobic hatred and tumblr crocodile tears would be delicious.
Your ID usually has necessary info needed to get you the help you need, you dolt.

How long does it take to determine blood type, though? When I donated blood ten years ago, it was a pin-prick onto a piece of paper and a couple drops of a solution were added. I think it took all of 30 seconds to determine my blood type.

30 seconds can mean the difference between life or death, but fishing through pockets or a purse to find the card could also take some time, right?

And the last we see of Aidan? So, Stephie one with just that one little outburst? Well, I lost the betting pool.

Also, if they have a number, one that could be quickly input into a computer system, wouldn't blood type be on that record?

Sorry I've not been active on here in what seems like ages (yes, it's been a while).

Been keeping up with the comic on FB via a friend who thinks it's a work of fucking genius. This friend also recently decided to slam my boyfriend for crossplaying/crossdressing at comic book conventions because it "makes fun of transpeople".

Anyway the comic's getting stupider and nothing has hit me in the feels. At all. No matter how hard Sophie tries, she fails.

Also I am yet to review the colouring book. >_< BEAR WITH ME.

Stephie seems to have learned nothing about proper medical procedures since her outburst at the hospital in the very first comic. In other words, she has basically had no real character development for 128 strips. Those last three panels also look ripe for editing.

Farewell, Aidan. You may have been intended to be a strawman, but you have become the most freethinking character in the comic.

Also, if they have a number, one that could be quickly input into a computer system, wouldn't blood type be on that record?
Blood typing is such a Big Deal that it is usually done anew each time transfusion is required. If medical personnel won't put their bets on old medical records, why would they trust something on some "ID"? This is why I think having your blood type on your ID won't be as helpful as it might seem.

Sex is quite another matter. In the good old days, before the plague of mental retardation that we're witnessing, most adults can be trusted to:
  1. Reliably determine their own biological sex (and that of their children).
  2. Honestly disclose their/their childrens' biological sex to medical personnel, knowing it is in their best interest to do so.
Yes, it really takes 30 seconds to check a person's crotch, but not having to do so every time will save the patient some embarrassment, and I can imagine the rumpus some "gender smoothie" nutjob would raise.
