You do know ICU beds are specialized and help people breathe right? A regular bed won't help them. Also shipping takes time and money to do.

CNN ran with this story and used it as an emotional springboard to bring up the spat between Governor DeSantis and the Broward School Board over mandatory masks in schools. The short CNN piece neglected to mention that schools in Broward do not start until the 18th and this missing bit of info gives the impression that the teachers were infected from working in a Broward school.

Well I work in a federally regulated, private sector business, so I don't know what I'm going to do. They're saying the measure will be extended to all federally regulated sectors soon. I don't want to get the shot. I don't want to increase the risk to my health and life, which is what the shots do for people like me who are relatively young and healthy. But even that aside, just out of principle I don't want to get it. I could probably delay getting the shot, but then sooner or later I would have to. If there are exemptions to these requirements I will definitely seek to take advantage of those. Forging proof of having taken the shots is another option, though if discovered this would lead to my immediate termination. I'm not considering taking the shots as an option.
Should just try delaying it as much as possible. Perhaps people will realize that vaccine mandates do more harm than good. Maybe people will realize Delta Covid isn't going to kill every man, woman and child. Maybe scientists discover a dangerous long term side effect of the vaccine. If the madness continues just seek if there's available justification not to get vaccinated. Maybe just saying you're vegan or something is good enough. Write to management and ask if they're willing to guarantee that the vaccine is safe and that they will be held liable if something goes wrong today or ten years from now.
