Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

The Christian thing to do is to give up a pension of 20 years so that your feelings aren't hurt.

Jeez, imagine the dystopian nightmare where you can be told, by the person paying you, that you have to do things! Even things you don't want to do! And that if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else! Holy fuck! When did this turn into Nazi Germany?

I remember literally nearly 30 years ago being told I had to get a flu shot by an employer. This was just something they did. It was even in the contract, lmao, like anyone reads those. Did I start howling about the Mass of Satan? No, I just went and got it, it was free, too.

This shit is not even unique, although that was the only job that ever happened at. I thought it was a bit eccentric, but meh, whatever, free flu shot, I have had the flu and it is not fun.

I cannot get over Candace Owens. The person who thought that trolltrace was a good idea and got clowned on by Zoe Quinn for horning in on her scam is now being mentioned semi seriously as VP material. There's good money in being a Republican's black friend I guess.
Rapper TI completely owned her on a panel they had.

"When was America great that you want to go back to? When people like us were second class citizens?" and of course she couldn't answer. She's just another grifter

Funny thing regarding that Logos guy's statement is they wanna blame Biden for this but Trump is the one who made the deal to leave Afghanistan. If anything, Biden delayed it, it was supposed to be in May this year. To be clear that doesn't make Biden's handling of the withdrawal good or competent, but he's just doing what Trump agreed to do.

EDIT: But there's a reason Afghanistan is called the Graveyard of Empires. Alexander the Great couldn't do it and the Soviets couldn't do it and the British couldn't do it.

Afghanistan is a bunch of tribes that were forced to live in the same border because of colonialism. Almost no one in the country gives two fucks about the country itself. It was inevitable this was going to happen after withdrawal

Hot take from a 4 year user here. As shitty as the face TD put on was, it was mostly to piss the rest of reddit off.

Plenty of crazies on there, but it was no worse than any other part of reddit. Alot of the mods were trolls and shit, and around 2019 iirc there was some big drama where one of the mods handed moderation over to reddit admins or something? I spent most of my time on the (good) discord server. After trump lost in 2020 it got so filled up with Q posting and trash that many of the more chill people left, including myself. It simply wasnt a fun gathering place anymore.

The thing that always stuck out to me tho, was that discord server was probably the most "average joes" ive ever seen in one place online. I still talk to alot of people from there.

Well yeah The_Donald was intended as a reddit colony from /pol/ to troll reddit and redpill people. It became shit when boomers and retards infested the subreddit who would blindly suck Trump's dicks. It didn't help a lot of grifters brought more attention to it for the boomers.

Alexander the Great actually did do it, but I digress.

If Trump had done the exact same thing it would have played out the exact same way, except he would have been talking about how great the Taliban was and telling any Afghan refugees to fuck off.

Realistically, though, heads should roll at the Department of Defense. If Biden was acting on stuff they told him and it was that wrong, he shouldn't be the one to take the blame.

If you're going to compare this to Vietnam, remember that the South Vietnamese government was an incredibly corrupt state that no one wanted to fight for... just as the Afghan government we were propping up was. When the president flees the country after saying he'll fight to the end, what are we to make of that?

Posting Trump's intended statement regarding withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan now for posterity.

The collapse of the Afghani government was inevitable with the United States' withdrawal. Behind closed doors, I'm fairly certain everyone knew that this would be the result.

It was deleted when Kabul fell on Sunday, incidentally. Just so you know.

I actually just came here to post about that.

Darn that Biden, sticking to Trump's plan. This is all Biden's fault! In all seriousness, promising to get out of Afghanistan is one of the very few things I thought Trump was right about. The fuck we gonna do, stay there forever? If in 20 years we hadn't been able to eradicate the Taliban, I don't think we ever would.

To give Trump credit, Biden changed the plan to be later in the year but who knows what would've happened. Either way it's retarded that Trumpfags are trying to make Biden's incompetency all about how Trump is cool rather than focus on the fact Biden did the dumbest shit in US Foreign Policy.

Still funny how this is true so much

The reason it was drawn back was because May is the start of the campaign season in Afghanistan usually. With no US troops what so ever in the country, I doubt that the Afghan government would have lasted any longer.

Staying there forever was really the only way we could actually accomplish anything in Afghanistan, but I don't think anyone wanted that.

Or so I thought. The closet warmongers are exposing themselves these last few days.
