If the last 10 or so pages of this thread haven't sewn within you the complete distrust of the U.S. Government's competence you're a lost cause, though I probably don't need to tell kiwis that. However my point is that if the citizens of a nation don't trust their government, other nations and peoples are even less likely to. That being said you should begin thinking about moving your dollars into other assets while you can, I'm not going to tell you what to buy, just about anything other than U.S. dollars is probably a better alternative. I can't predict the future, so take it with a grain of salt, but I believe the U.S. dollar will collapse within the next 12 months. Especially if they keep the money printer brrrrrrring along as they've indicated they plan to.
I remember at the beginning of the covid thread in happenings food storage and pantry were discussed, this is an area I'm trying to target at the moment. Is there a dedicated thread for long term food storage or should I make one and what area of the site would it be appropriate.
