One caveat I would add is this spectacular failure in military strength also reflects poorly on foreign nations' confidence in US security and thus, another massive crack in the globohomo agenda. The Roman legions were considered fantastic until they weren't. I suspect if the US were to splinter off like the Roman Empire, it'd be the Southwest falling to the Cartels.

Sadly this is likely to be the case, though it's going to be incredibly hard if this goes from simple humiliation into full-out slaughter. It is. Frankly, I've been thinking that it's been happening ever since the late 80s at the earliest. We're just a strange and distorted mirror image of the Soviets. We triumph so much of their ideals, while we weld it with capitalistic exploitation, and the problems of empire, gerontocracy, and so many others, that I think the American Republic will not last til 2050. We'll fragment apart, and it's likely to be much bloodier than what happened to the Soviets. God, we just need one bad war to hit all the fracture points and turn the current crisis to a breaking point.

If the last 10 or so pages of this thread haven't sewn within you the complete distrust of the U.S. Government's competence you're a lost cause, though I probably don't need to tell kiwis that. However my point is that if the citizens of a nation don't trust their government, other nations and peoples are even less likely to. That being said you should begin thinking about moving your dollars into other assets while you can, I'm not going to tell you what to buy, just about anything other than U.S. dollars is probably a better alternative. I can't predict the future, so take it with a grain of salt, but I believe the U.S. dollar will collapse within the next 12 months. Especially if they keep the money printer brrrrrrring along as they've indicated they plan to.

I remember at the beginning of the covid thread in happenings food storage and pantry were discussed, this is an area I'm trying to target at the moment. Is there a dedicated thread for long term food storage or should I make one and what area of the site would it be appropriate.

If this was any kind of "normal" situation, they would have given Biden some speed like they did for the debate so he could go out and say a few words and disappear again. Just how he is spending all this time at his home in Delaware and won't release visitor's logs, and then back to Camp David for 4-5 days is incredibly odd. President, Vice President nowhere to be found and you have to get information for deputy communication directors or some mouthpiece for the Pentagon. Trump might not have left Mar-a-Lago and flown back to the White House in a similar situation, but he damn well would have been on camera saying something.
