That has been the most amazing part of all of this.
From what I can gather, the Afghan army outnumbers the Taliban 3:1. Yet, the instant the US started leaving, the Afghan army didn't even bother to defend itself; it just gave up and handed over all their weapons to the Taliban.
What the fuck was going on the last 20 years where the Afghan army didn't even bother putting up a defense?

I don't think the Afgans were ever committed to defending it. We had a very difficult time doing even basic training for the Iraqi military and police after that invasion. The people left behind from the initial fighting seem to be a mix of people who are indifferent and just not capable of doing complicated tasks. That is to say: a lot of them are actually retarded. We've known that for a long time though, and this is what happens when you try to prop up a bunch of people who can't even take care of their civilization themselves.
After watching Afghanistan collapse along with all the other stuff that was propped up with it, I now have less worry and concern over all the strange lefty shit we see over here. It's all fake, it's all propped up, and as soon as what props it up is taken away or damaged, it won't be able to exist anymore. So, why does it have to exist at all?

I was listening to a podcast and they were saying that Afghan Military’s ground troops were trained to operate in conjunction with air support (often times ours, though they do have their own).
Joe Biden pulled our air support and also prohibited American contractors from assisting the Afghans with their own aircraft in person (apparently the Afghani’s were trying to get their planes flying and trying to troubleshoot their aircraft via zoom calls).
Essentially, they didn’t know how to fight without air support and they didn’t have any.
