Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It absolutely would have been different under Trump, as he wouldn't have reneged on the deal. At the very least, if it were fucked, we would've known who was responsible instead of this schizophrenic finger-pointing and deflecting shitfest.

But, we'll never know, because Biden and his admin - who would've had no reason for the military top brass to not comply with him/them - wanted to forego the agreed-upon exit date because they just had to do it differently than orange man while also trying for extra optics points.

If you defend or deflect this shit you're seriously no better - I'd argue much worse, in fact - than the Trump fanatics who lap up every thing he says and defend every fuckup he made. Go honestly fuck yourself.

Leave it be, he has been nursing a grudge for me reporting him for going "BET ME BRO" repeatedly and going off on wild tangents ever since I did back during the election. I was, rightfully, told to go fuck myself for it and revised my view of acceptable Farms etiquette. But he has insisted it was for not liking Trump enough or some shit.

Eh, whatever helps him sleep at night, I guess.

The problem isnt the Taliban taking over Afghanistan. Its the withdrawal execution.

If Biden had stuck to the OG agreement than the US could still maintain positive relations in the future like Russia/ China is doing. Instead he changed the date by a couple months for Headlines. No strategic reason just 'Muh 9/11' nonsense. This gave the Taliban ample time to run around their country gaining sympathy against 'the occupier' for not upholding their agreement and they started an offenisve across the country in Early May. Its now the middle of August and Biden was giving Press Conferences in July talking about how the Taliban taking over would never happen.

He knew that the Taliban were a resurging force and did nothing preemptively to protect our people/allies. IGUEEESSS it takes a strategic genius to figure out breaking the deadline without communicating with the Taliban would result in them using that to their advantage for their own propaganda...I GUESSSSSSSS

I disagree. Biden tried to Native American treaty the tribals, they didn't like that so with godspeed they wrecked shit up.

The months do matter. Even if they did the same shit under Trump, it would make America look blameless in the matter and the Taliban to be untrustworthy. We pretty much just fucked ourselves raw because Biden hated Orange Man that much and now the USA looks like a joke.

Pretty shameful. Imo.

I think it's recognizing that the Left (in American politics) were once pioneers of progressing for the American people. 2000s Left is very different from 2020s Left. I remember when the Left were anti-corporate and pro-consumer. Or at the least, the Right were unbearable that people against the Right were Left by default.

The right did was the left now did, resisted the pendulum swing. Rather than adapt, they remained mired in their own ways and tried to live off old glory while increasingly fighting dragons which didn't exist.

They still are. See Donald Trump. What they need to be doing now is buckling down on the current enemies from the state. ANTIFA, CRT, border security, to a lesser extent, election integrity.
