I think what makes me so ass-mad about Biden's speech isn't that he was a bumbling retard with a speech impediment, but that he essentially told all of our allies to go fuck themselves. Ukraine invaded by Russia? Best fight them yourselves. Taiwan invaded by China? Go fuck yourself, not our problem.
The only real thing stopping the PRC from taking more extreme measures in the Southeast Pacific was American hegemony and our autistic pigheadedness to see a mission done. In early October the weather conditions over the Strait of Taiwan will improve. Until March, it will be the most opportune time for China to launch amphibious operations in the Strait.
