This document from St Louis County (last page) says "fully vaxxed" status will only last three months, potentially 2 1/2 really when it takes two weeks to go into effect after a shot. There is a lesser category of vaxxed which might allow you the privilege of work and maybe the grocery store, too. Then you have the unvaxxed.

These people uncritically defend "The Science" and praise it for evolving and adapting to new information and data while at the same time trusting that "The Science" is currently correct, infallible, and must be followed. The Science is always right until it is wrong, but even then it is right for being wrong and adapting to be right again. Absolutely zero capacity to think for themselves.

Well burning down vaccine clinics not yet, we are getting there. The protests get played down a lot by the media but they get bigger every Saturday, and law enforcement are joining them. There is a real fear for civil war to break at the moment in France and this sentiment is growing in the whole of Europe since governments keep failing time after time. Almost no one is following Covid regulations anymore and in the Netherlands they do away with most of them in the next month because the people are getting fed up with them. Western Europe is very slow to take action against regimes and injustice....almost to slow i would say because a lot of damage is already done, but i think we are waking up. Frenchies are very hotheaded so it will take a while for the rest to catch up to them.

I understand that, but what I was saying is, since they likely didn't test for norovirus or stomach flu, there's a chance he has both at once. I guess it doesn't matter much, but it's like how kids have covid and RSV. Kids often get covid without symptoms at all, or very mild ones, but vomiting and diarrhea sounds a lot like my stomach bug illnesses as a kid, especially as you mentioned them simmering down after one night

Local provincial stat, an increase of 6 hospitalization. It too early to tell if this will go into an big hospitalization wave despite the majority of people vaccinated. But if we take last year as an exemple shit will hit the fan very soon.

My aunt got the shot, mom didn't. Both are mid-70's average. Aunt already had COPD, but now two weeks later, her breathing is worse and she might have to go into the hospital. I really hope Mom holds out; she never goes anywhere, gets everything delivered or my Aunt helps her, and I love them both over any other family members I have alive. I don't remember if I mentioned my "punk" friend or not, but he got the jab and wound up in the hospital for a week recently. I didn't ask why, we were texting and it seemed bad form to immediately ask. I am curious, though. Big ol' dude, never knew him to ever even be sick.

I am holding the line though, neither myself or the roomie are ever getting it. Period.
